Lets not lay it on anybody. Its hard to find any politician or medical expert who did a great job on this. I was listening to the POTUS channel on satellite radio and this women who I believe is a doctor and expert on viruses was being interviewed for a 2nd time. First time was March 2020. They host played her comments then. She said no masks. They spread all sorts of disease and should not be worn. And she went into all sorts of details to back up her statements.

One thing we have done universally is screw up with all of this.

If kids weren’t involved i would say go for it. For those that don’t want to be vaccinated let them take their chances.

News flash Trump isn’t president no more, Biden is your President and the delta happening under him.. Biden hasn’t hardly wore a mask since he became president

Yep, it’s time to let nature take its course. Unfortunately the Biden regime won’t quit harassing people. They want a shot in every arm, including children and infants.

As someone else pointed out, the peak in the UK is over, and we will likely follow that pattern.
Delta is more contagious and less deadly.
Hospitals won’t be overrun.
Lethality is low.
People would be better off protecting themselves as they see fit, and living their lives.
When Delta peaks here in a couple of weeks or so, the ammunition to vaccinate will be depleted.
That’s why Biden’s working with hospitals, corporations, teachers union, tech companies, for a huge push now.
They know it’s ending soon.

“If the U.K. is turning the corner, it’s a pretty good indication that maybe we’re further into this than we think and maybe we’re two or three weeks away from starting to see our own plateau here in the United States,” said Gottlieb, who led the Food and Drug Administration commissioner from 2017 to 2019 in the Trump administration.

The UK is actually back up again. The bottomed out at 23K a day and yesterday hit 29K. 29k is equal to 160k here. They are not at all out of the woods.

Were those vaccines mandatory? I'd like some evidence of that. Prior to Covid, we had outbreaks in our local schools of measles due to anti-vaxxer children on objector waivers. That was unheard of when I was a child in the 80's.

Anti-vaxxers didn't just start with Covid, and they aren't all Trump voting Republicans either.

This is a very different scenario than last year. There IS a vaccine. Anyone in the US not vaccinated now only has themselves to blame. The biggest problem is those unvaccinated people will still overwhelm our hospitals if we let the delta variant tear through the population.
If only there were a vaccine for TDS. I assumed it peaked late last year and would have faded by now but it appears to be as virulent as ever.

With respect, you missed my point. Republican citizens listened to Trump. The ONLY reason the anti-mask movement exists today is because Trump treated covid so casually. The anti-mask, casual mindset about this pandemic (which is accelerating the spread of the delta variant) rests solely on his shoulders.

I do agree, however, that every time Biden is seen in public around other people he should wear a mask right now.

Then why didn’t they all decide to take the vaccine after Trump did? Why all the cry to close every thing down and follow the science and after Biden became president, everything started to open up, but Biden and Harris totally ignored the orders. Biden has been president since January 20, delta is on him.

When did the Republicans become such a morbid death cult? Even if you accept the physical and economic losses from the endless waves of COVID-19 variants, a much greater portion of the population will be left dealing with long-haul symptoms. A better approach would be to use the vaccines to tamp down the spread and throw more resources at finding improved treatments for the symptoms.
