The problem with COVID vs. the "Common Cold" vs. Influenza is that COVID is a virus that causes more hospitalizations than the "Common Cold" or Influenza, even nastier strains like 2009's Swine Flu. COVID killed more than Swine Flu in just the first surge, about mid-April. I was fine with this doctor until he started comparing COVID to the "Common Cold" and Influenza.

The massive failure of leadership by Gov. DeSantis continues on and on.
But Republicans say it's up to the people to take personal responsibility to protect themselves from the virus without out help from the government. How about blaming people who refuse to mask up because they don't think they will come down sick with the virus, especially the ones who also refused to get vaccinated?
Interesting how people opposed to masks and covid vaccinations hardly ever have any words of advice as to how to prevent yourself from coming down sick with covid.

No it was a bore once he said that. I addressed that in my previous post. It is fairly easy to see that COVID is worse than Influenza, even for a bad year. Largely due to how many people get seriously sick.
