I really think social distancing is what we all need to practice right now. Certainly, at one point, we are going to have some kind of human contact, but if we can manage to stay away from everybody at least 6 feet away, our risk of getting the virus will be significantly lower.
I do like the NY restriction on restaurants to allow just 50% occupancy max.
I am going to eat soon, and will, like yesterday, look for table furthest from other patrons.
This is why i have mixed feelings about testing as many people as possible. Testing without a follow up plan in my opinion will not solve the problem either.

This is way public health crisis have been managed since they were first discovered. No one had a test for many of the crisis through out history. Once people realized they should isolate it improved.
If test kits are scarce, they should be used for doctors, nurses and the like, professionals that are exposed to lots of people and thus need to be clean.
WHO AND CDC do not use testing number in it's estimation and current numbers. Blaming POTUS for a virus is like kicking a horse for eating an apple.
The POTUS has been lying about the availability of tests for WEEKS. He has said publicly, in front of cameras, that anyone that wants a test can get one. That is a lie. And EMTs are seeing sick seniors get kicked out of assisted living facilities because they can't show they don't have the virus. No test. The senior becomes homeless. How does that help? Where do they go if they don't have family members to take them in? Why is this so hard to grasp?
If the sick senior has no place to go because the assisted living facility won't take them back without a clean test, what is the recommendation from a "medical professional"?
Don't return to a location which is a known area of contagion. Isolate in room. Meals served or left outside room door which is kept closed. No visitors. Face time with family.

Sorry, but that is not the case. They always communicate their numbers in the evening.
I assume they have surpassed 20k infections by now.
