That's simply false. You Trumplicans are doing so much damage by dissuading people from following the recommendations of the CDC and NIH.

Oh, wait, I doubt Fox will tell them that, so they likely will never know. You can't educated those determined to remain stupid.
Actually, some Fox commentators are already coming around.

And so is Trump, albeit kicking and screaming the whole way.

What will be interesting to see is whether the covid19 poopers will continue to be Trump supporters, and how they will manage the mind trick.

How individuals deal with it has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not this is a big deal. I'll trust the medical experts who are telling us this is a crisis over you. You obviously know nothing except what the right wing media is feeding you. Outside of your little bubble the world is in crisis. You can pretend otherwise all you want.

Just because you felt the need to hoard TP doesn't mean I did.

If anyone wants/needs to buy TP. . . it's readily available on Ebay. Many who bought mega packages are selling it for mega bucks on Ebay. If not price gouging, they are charging a fortune to ship it.

Last I looked, there were 20,634 listings (per the headline on Ebay).

That's where you can buy it.

Won't be surprised to see some selling it for a fortune on street corners.

This I agree with. Fauci and the others are likely deliberately overstating things in an effort to contain the spread. They know deep down this is not another Black Plague but they would rather overstate the seriousness than understate it even though they know that to overstate means to sink the economy. Overstating kills the economy; understating spells the possibility this could really get serious, but likely will not.

There was no way to avoid this crisis. A sound and healthy economy would bounce back from this virus. A fundamentally deeply sick economy like ours cannot.

That would be great and if so the Nation as a whole should be proud of itself for the efforts of our people. Now in this Trump is in a no win situation. if a "only" a thousand people die he will be accused of taking draconian measures which destroyed "obama's" great economy. And if millions die he will be accused of being a complete failure end not doing enough. Politically its a no win, this would apply to whomever was in office and i am sure will be a commercial used against every mayor, governor etc in upcoming elections. Isn't politics grand...

I think you're underestimating the resiliency of the American people. Once this thing has cooled off and people can come out of their houses you'll see restaurants sprout like mushrooms to fill the pent-up demand. GDP will skyrocket and the market will have had a good correction to shake out all the speculative debt.

You're right. It's a foregone conclusion at this point if only because of the economy tanking that Biden will be our next president.

What you're overlooking about this latest bear market is that it got started not only because of coronavirus, but because almost on the same day that news came out, the Saudi's cut the price of oil. And as you surely must know if you follow the markets, oil prices have a devastating effect on the market.

It was the double whammy of the oil price drop, and the effects on business due to the virus, that gave us such a huge drop in the market.
