You wanna give me the logic model on that piece of nonsense?

God may be exempt, but the churches operating in his name are not.

No one is stopping these people from worshiping. They can do that in the safety of their own homes. Their "freedom" to attend church services during a pandemic infringes upon my freedom to stay healthy.

I wouldn't extend that to all religions. Catholics, for instance, directed their parishes to close weeks ago. I watched Palm Sunday Mass from the parish I was raised in, 400 miles away, while still in my jammies. Churches all over the world are sending their services out over the interwebs.

Violence without our consent happens every day. Next ...

Good point.

Promoting the general welfare means just that. Allowing people to assemble in large groups during a national crisis is not promoting the general welfare. You may choose to attend church services, but the virus in your body doesn't allow you to choose to keep it to yourself. And I don't choose to come in contact with it. So yes, in this instance, the people in that Florida church are choosing for me.

People have to choose to join in with or become a crowd. They are not forced.
Are they being informed? Are they being warned of the potential consequences?
Or are the Authoritarians just saying NO, or I will commit violence upon your person?
Will someone please inform BentBow of how diseases are transmitted? Good gravy ...

Oh, Florida.
Well, he was running against a total idiot though.

He was the lesser of two evils.

After all, "God will provide", so it isn't like they'll need to venture out into the sinful secular world for any reason.
The religious aren’t coming outta this thing looking good at all.

The fanatics are pretty much across the board endangering their own congregations but also others. Thank god for agnostics.

Texas said church has to close and then back tracked. Supposed to practice social distancing there, but I've no idea if anyone monitors that at all.

Lock the doors and set fire to the congregants and the diseased. It's the only solution.

well that or

Ticket every car in the church parking lot. $500 fine.
