Howard-Browne has been in the Oval office to pray with Trump and Falwell is very close to the president. One would think that Trump could easily use his influence and ties with these men to do the right thing.
Because they like you, are NOT the Property of the State.

It is never right, to take another mans freedom & liberties.
The right thing, would be to not treat other people as if they are your property.
In the USA, stupid people were culled rather quickly.

Let them do it. Their numbers can dwindle for the benefit of the rest.

I see this going to the Supreme Courts, with a YUGE payday for the pastor.
This is not China, the old USSR, or Cuba. This is the USA, where people are free from government oppression, with the right to withdraw consent at any moment.
YOU ain't no one's PROPERTY, unless you yourself consent. You cannot consent for me and I cannot consent for you.
As the proven contamination is by close human contact- then they should have gone to church and stayed there 14 days-- but to come out to infect others,,, is now is a threat against my well being.

Some of you freedom geniuses on this site seem to be oddly unfamiliar with two concepts

1. Freedom of any indivudual is limited by the freedom of those around him or her
2. The more power one has, the more responsibilities he has. Or should have

According to No1, freedom of one individual to risk getting infected is limited by the freedoms of people who don't want to get infected, but might, due to the reckless behavior of the said individual

According to No2, the preaching genius, unfortunately, has power over his church constituents or whatever you call them. That being so, it is up to him to do anything in his power not to expose people to contagion.

He could have provided his services via radio, tv, internet, you name it. In the time when it is all possible and really available, he has to have his flock packed in the room with him.

Thing is, only God knows how many cases that particular instance of crappy behavior is going to produce. If everybody is extremely lucky / none. But if there had been one, just one case in that mass of people, it was bound to spiral out of control. It can burden the already overwhelmed medical facilities, and then you have another Italy or Spain in Florida or Louisiana.

And speaking of religious gatherings, the one in France that took place on Feb 14 is probably where it all started for the ppl of France and Switzerland particularly and couple of other countries around. I was wondering for days how and why Switzerland has so many cases and so many dead, when their caution and efficiency in dealing with problems is normally legendary. Well, it hit them early. And it started with this. Special Report: Five days of worship that set a virus time bomb in France

Now, it has been a whole month and a half after that happened. How much more time do you need to understand the gravity of the problem

The Constitution disagrees.

" Personal liberty, or the Right to enjoyment of life and liberty, is one of the fundamental or natural Rights, which has been protected by its inclusion as a guarantee in the various constitutions, which is not derived from, or dependent on, the U.S. Constitution, which may not be submitted to a vote and may not depend on the outcome of an election. It is one of the most sacred and valuable Rights, as sacred as the Right to private property...and is regarded as inalienable."
