Washington Gov. Jay Inslee's office on Monday issued a set of coronavirus requirements that restaurants must abide by when they reopen, one of which requires them to create a "daily log" of their customers' comings and goings.
Even if it's not foolproof, this is a pragmatic and sensible measure that that should have been instituted early-on, and held in readiness in the possibility of future pandemics.
For once, Mr. Elliott and I are in agreement.
If you don't need an ID to vote you sure don't need one to eat !!!

I am beyond surprised that a self professed libertarian would be OK with this.
So now we need to be more like China !!! What happened to being more like the EU or Sweden ?
This is starting to look more like Halloween without the candy !!!
IDK if your trolling by calling Taiwan China,
But Trump on his first day of office accepted a call from Csai Ying Wen and acknowledged Taiwan's sovereignty, something no other president has done.
both liberals and conservatives unanimously agree Taiwan is not a part of China,
Taiwan actually has a different currency, human rights, different president ect. ect.
most importantly they hate China and the CCP more then any country in the entire world
One thing all Americans can agree on is Taiwan is def not a part of china,,,,,, who's side are you on? definitely not America's
I support Taiwan in believing it was a lab leak and I support Taiwan in educating the world about the evils of the CCP
No president has stood up to the CCP more then Taiwan's president Csai Ying Wen.
She is amazing and even came to Colorado to ride horses one time.
Also I support whatever Taiwan does regarding the virus because they are 100 miles from China and have had no cases of community transmission in over a month
IF TAIWAN was in the WHO they would've notified the world of the seriousness of the situation and the virus would have likely never spread out of China and saved lives and economies
supporting taiwan more could have saved us
all could have been avoided if Taiwan was in the WHO bc they wouldve notified the world of Human to Human transmission in December like they tried to do, but bc they weren't in the WHO they were silenced.
The issue is NOT that the restaurant will have our name and contact information. The issue is contact tracing by the government, and again, it's not that they just want to be able to send you a friendly warning that someone else who was also at the restaurant has COVID and you should be aware... because that would be OK, it's that they will come out to your house, and force a test on you, and potentially force you into a 14 day isolation, potentially away from your family.
I'm telling you, I will not be separated from my husband and this farm, or have him separated from me, over paranoid rules about this virus. We are in this together.
I do NOT want to punish restaurants any more than they already have been, but this is freaking people out, and unfairly. People will avoid going to restaurants just when they really need people's business. It is not the restaurant's fault. There's no contract tracing log at the hardware store, or the grocery store. It's capricious and arbitrary.
