You mean changed based on current data to help guide in potential scenarios? Because models aren't crystal balls, just ways to assess situations and act accordingly with the current data we have on a novel virus that previously was never known?
So the climate tipping point that models say is about, oh, 9-10 years out now, that results in an extinction cycle is now a foregone conclusion? Yeah, it's definitely not a prediction because that would mean it's a crystal ball.

Smoking can increase one's risk for getting lung cancer, but proving it was the sole cause and not air pollution, radioactive particles, inhaling toxic chemicals, etc, is a whole different matter.
Here is Rush Limbaugh's exact quote, verbatim, about the coronavirus back in early March: "It's really being hyped as a deadly Andromeda strain or Ebola pandemic that, 'Oh, my God, ... That's less than the flu, folks!"
The flu killed just under 38,000 Americans from October 1st to April 15th. That's about 5,500 people per month.
COVID-19 killed 86,000 Americans in 79 days, that's about 34,000 people per month.

Trump and Limbaugh are good for the undertaker business and the white hooded robe business, that's for sure.
The ends match; the means are now rapid. The AGW angle had become laughable, so they went Bio.
AGW is only laughable to people who also believe the theory of evolution is laughable and think that "if humans came from monkeys why are there still monkeys?" is a good "gotcha" question.
