Thankfully, Governor DeSantis is taking steps to mitigate COVID-19 seeding by limiting access to our resources from areas that recklessly disregarded social distancing guidelines.
Is there a Wall at your beach? The local mayors might be working on the problem - DiSantis just wants fame with MrT. He, like those farm owners will be looking at some bigger problems soon. Speaking as a Fl native, he better enjoy his time- there will not be another term for him.

Most certainly, worldwide.

So much of this contagion could be avoided if people would social distance and wear masks. The resistance to mask is so stupid. Masks are the easiest way to control the spread - to others and to yourself. Masks ARE protective for the wearer. Of course, these protests will result in an increase - although hopefully not as severe due to weather - and the fact all this congestion took place outdoors. The latter will go a long way to mitigate spread and severity of cases. Lower viral load b/c of outdoor transmission means less severe infection. And, the protestors, for the most part, are young. They just need to stay away from g'ma and g'pa for a while.

Protest wars or Covid supersurges are both?

This isn't being enforced with the "protesters" therefore, it shouldn't be enforced with any other gatherings because it presents a hypocritical situation.

I think about all the posts on this forum condemning people for not following “social distancing” just a couple of weeks ago,

Go ahead, keep wearing your face diapers you got off of Etsy and standing on the stupid dots at the store.

Apparently immunity and risk of the virus totally depends on which rights or agenda side you’re on.

We have become downright pathetic.
Bingo.
Social distancing is MANDATORY.

Face masks are MANDATORY.

Thou shalt not go to a restaurant. TAKE OUT ONLY

Thou shalt not get your haircut.

Thou shalt not live freely, we are all in this together.

** Fine print exception: The above rules don't apply if you are a protester, protesting racism. Then, feel free to congregate by the thousands, not social distance, and not wear your mask.

Sure they just should have arrested protesters with no masks in Minneapolis, easy solution. How are you going to enforce masks when beauty salons don’t follow the law.

No, it is not over. Hospitalizations are up in 9 states since Memorial Day.

WaPo Link

"As the number of new coronavirus cases continues to increase worldwide, and more than a dozen states and Puerto Rico are recording their highest averages of new cases since the pandemic began, hospitalizations in at least nine states have been on the rise since Memorial Day.

In Texas, North and South Carolina, California, Oregon, Arkansas, Mississippi, Utah and Arizona, there are an increasing number of patients under supervised care since the holiday weekend because of coronavirus infections. The spikes generally began in the past couple weeks and in most states are trending higher."
