Either way this crisis has been used to further a political objective. And sadly, it has and will cost more lives.

The MSM did not shame and Democratic 'leaders' did not enforce the Lockdown rules on the protesters, and it appears that the protesters did indeed spread it more, took it home and infected many who were observing the Lockdown.

On the bright side, we have learned a lot and are still learning more about this virus. Treatments have greatly improved and there may be vaccines soon. And despite cases going up, deaths are coming down - a good sign.

This ^^^. The media just loves to scream the headlines of "massive exponential spiking of cases", but the death rates are trending down. Almost everywhere the new cases are among the young, average age in the 30s, and who have few if any symptoms. In my county the deaths have been the same for a couple weeks now, not going up at all. Not saying of course that some people don't get really sick (or worse) but this virus is nowhere near as bad as originally feared, even though they keep trying to make us think it is.
