And if he did that is exactly what they would say - oh see he is literally Hitler like we said. He's damned either way.

The states and cities have the power to take care of this and simply refuse. Trump would be fully supportive of them if they did what they should be doing.

This is not a natural disaster, this is on the local governments- the leaders are big boys and girls with the authority and responsibility to get their house in order.

Insurrection act. If it gets to that point, Trump can do something about it.

Their self-delusion zone also includes a lot of businesses. I wonder what the merchants think.

Actually, Constitutionally and legally, Trump has no jurisdiction in upholding the law and order that's supposed to be implemented by Local and State governments. 10th Amendment. States Rights.

An example: the 1968 Dem Convention riots in Chicago. The Governor called out the National Guard at the Mayor's request. POTUS had nothing to do with it.

Same thing happened in the Wilmington, DE riots. The Governor called out the National Guard at the Mayor's request.

Democrats threw a fit when he wanted to do it for just the District of Columbia.

Will governors start calling up more National Guard or do they not want to anger the potential rioters, arsonists, looters, murderers, and blue voters?
That is EXACTLY their dilemma. Either call up the NG and blue voters hate them because FtP, or watch their cities burn and become unlivable with the same result: blue voters hate them.

Think Trump would win a federal lawsuit over that in the 9th District? We're talking Seattle.

It's why I believe decisions like this should be made from an independent party, not the local government. Like you said, it's a conflict of interest because the demo gov's don't want to anger their fanbase.

Not even. The local government practically handed the buildings over to them.
Kshama Sawant let them into City Hall.

Such is Seattle.

So, he is not expected to do anything, but they worship him anyway........

The mind of a Trump apologist is a mysterious place.
what should he do? Order up a B1 strike on the autonomous zone? I'm down with that.....
