TL/DR:

He was asleep in his car in a drive through (WTF?) then fought with officers, grabbed their Taser and was then shot.

Stacey Abrams: "sleeping in a drive through should not end in death". (I can't believe I TYPED that ludicrous statement).

Mayor is calling for the officer to be fired and the chief of police has stepped down.

It was him grabbing the Taser that caused the shooting. Way to twist the facts. How doped up would one have to be to fall asleep in a drive through? So he was endangering folks by driving while extremely intoxicated but that's ok.

We are now at ZERO accountability (if you're black).

His cousin provided two photos per CNN. In one he is clearly showing a gang sign. What does that tell you.

The family had no photos of him NOT showing a gang sign?? What kind of folks pick a photo of their deceased relative, showing a gang sign, as the photo you want on CNN?

I know when I'm confronted by the police, I always resist arrest, grab their taser and run away. Then, when the cops are hot on my tail, I turn and point said taser at them. What could go wrong?

Why are people so stupid??

Better q:

why are people who do that not being held accountable for what got them hurt/killed in the first place? How are you a victim if you attacked the police with their own weapon?!?

Is it seriously now, since George Floyd, OK to attack police?

Unfortunately, we are doing with a segment of society that refuse to acknowledge and accept any consequences for their own behavior and, instead, want to blame others for the outcome/consequences.

Well, essentially, as civilized people we try to "get along" with people, be polite & understanding and try not to rock the boat and cause unrest. We aren't particularly forceful or loud in situations like this.
