Sounds like you know more about constitutional law than the sc justices. Wonder why they didn’t pick you for that job?

DACA was created by a memorandum, not by a law or even by a regulation. Not Congress, not through the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act. We now have 5 judges ruling that DHS can't end DACA because it didn't do enough to comply with administrative procedures. Ridiculous.

5 SC justices. Are you always so deferential to the majority.

Maybe you can tell that to all of my Dreamer friends who moved here at age 5 and are now in college so that they can live productive lives instead of running from drug cartels.

This is 100% a Trump thing to appease his base.

Oh no, they know Constitutional law. Five justices just chose to ignore it and base their decision on feelings, emotions and political correctness instead.

Every law abiding American should object to illegal immigration and rewarding those here illegally. Seems like a good base to appease. These Dreamers can live productive lives in their own countries or go back and apply to come back legally as legal immigrants do. Fleeing drug cartels is not a reason to violate our immigration laws or even to claim asylum in our country. Not all areas of their countries have a drug cartel problem either. Most aren't fleeing anything they are coming here for economic opportunity on the backs of the U.S. taxpayer/worker. I am sure their parents either committed felony ID theft to gain employment and/or resorted to tax evasion also. They need to return to their homelands together so there will be no family separations.

Exactly, 5 justices chose to nit-pick instead of basing their decision on the rule of law and an unconstitutional EO by Obama. Ridiculous indeed!

The DACA decision was simply an effort by SCOTUS to test the political winds. It was a very narrow decision; one that can easily be reversed if Trump retains the White House. The Court does not want to issue a 5-4 ruling that would be overturned when the ink is dry if Biden wins.

Then let Congress update the laws already and improve the guest worker programs to meet the employment needs. Provide an accelerated path for the DACA kids to apply for legal citizenship already , and if the President wants the program created by by an Executive Order rescinded then let him grow a set and make a decision. His snide remarks and inflammatory remarks does nothing to resolve the issue.
