I don’t think it is a coincidence that since Saint George died, it all is coming to fruition, and it actually is just starting. Here in CT, Legalized Marijuana on July 1 , and the Bill is on the Governor’s Desk. However it wasn’t going to be signed unless there was some “ equity” built in, to give the communities that were most impacted by the Law on Drugs an opportunity to set up as retail sellers of cannabis products. And the Dems here are proud of that. Saying, see ,look here, we’re the first state to do it. Heroes.

I will just call it like I see it. There are some individuals who wish segregation still existed. Their hate for Dr. King is mainly rooted in that. Dr. King was never proven to be a communist, and Dr. King cheating, well, yes, Trump did that too. One of the reasons I think the hatred for Dr. King isn't really about the cheating.

I actually worked the system - went to school completely for free. Ever heard of a Pell Grant?
I don't get Juneteenth off as a holiday, so I'm like "whatever". What bothers me alot more are some people who decide to turn this into an opportunity for partisan rants and to vent their own partisan and/or racial resentment.

Poster did not say "cheating" he said "treating women". You might want to read up on MLK and how he treated women.
I first heard about it during the Trump administration, and I do understand why it is celebrated in Texas. But the whole country? More than half the states never had slavery, at least not after the country was formed. It's interesting, but I feel no urge to celebrate a southern tradition. Will Cinco de Mayo be the next Federal holiday? If so, why?
