Naw... that would be something else: modern liberalism.

note: the word "modern" is included, since classical liberalism is/was something far different--the progressives kidnapped the word "liberal" many years ago and have since given it a "The Picture of Dorian Gray" treatment.

Because it's an election year.

Think some of you need to learn how to knit - or paint or do puzzles. You’re seeing things in your heads.

It is just partisan malarkey to think either side actually wants this pandemic to continue or wants the economy to have further issues. The problem is the way Covid-19's response has been especially all the lies and conspiracy theories being thrown around have gone, we will not likely see it end and will likely see more economic trouble. That isn't me cheerleading a decline, this is me looking at the way things are going.

Such bullish*t!
No one wants to hang up any cure for this virus! Thinking anyone wants to obstruct any experimental cure is nonsense.

It's a virus, for God's sake! It doesn't care a thing about politics or what we think about it. It will feed because that's all it does. Anything that is a cure, or even an effective treatment for the symptoms is the only protection humankind will have until there's a vaccine that's effective.

The vaccine may never be found.

Those are the simple facts of the matter.

I'm sure asthma drugs will help with the breathing in lung compromised patients -- some of them -- not sure it will cure the virus. Asthma is not a virus/bacteria.......so while asthma medicine may help with the symptoms -- it won't cure or eradicate the virus.

Not sure this is a big revelation.

You would expect doctors to start with least evasive treatments and only go to more intense treatments if something like the asthma medicine didn't help ease the symptoms.

The anti-vax contingent includes people of all political persuasions.
