Pure BS. I'm on the left and I want kids to go back to school. I want your cult leader to be homeschooled

Do you try to override every legal decision that you don't agree with? Your opinion doesn't matter more than the opinion of the other 5.3 million registered voters in NYC. Some agree, some disagree, some have no opinion. Smart people work within whatever information and constraints they are given. And they are.

Ah... so Dems/left are perfectly fine with disadvantaging the poor, special ed, and ESL students by keeping B&M schools closed or only partially open. Got it.

One of the greatest tragedies of this situation is that it will be the poor, special ed, and ESL students who are hurt the most by the left's insistence on keeping B&M schools closed.

Lefties/Dems, consider very carefully whether that's a desirable result.

Schools have become purely Democrat controlled through corrupt Teacher's Unions like AFT and NEA. They've become Leftist indoctrination centers. Nothing more.

So you should be able to understand that (7-day averages are as of yesterday):

Germany - about 4 new daily cases/million population
FL - 500+ new/million
TX - 300+ new/million

So how should the above affect the school policy?
You've seen the MSM reports that labs/hospitals are inflating and otherwise misreporting positive COVID-19 results, no?

In fact, I've done it, single-handedly and successfully.

I changed IL State Law to unshackle the legal restrictions the ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) placed on highly achieving students by refusing to count B&M high school credits earned before 9th grade towards high school graduation requirements. In one of the most contentious ILGA sessions, ever, I got a unanimous yea vote for this:

Illinois General Assembly - Full Text of Public Act 095-0299

Then give your best shots to DeBlasio. I'm sure all of the NYC public school parents will appreciate your grass roots efforts since you seem to have such a clear understanding and can speak for what is best for the 1.1M students currently enrolled.

The "anti-homeschool Left" is opposed to people keeping their kids home in order to indoctrinate them in a worldview where science is considered Satanic, and to prepare their kids for a literal armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ to kill all unsaved people.

The pro-homeschool Left wants their children to live and not pick up deadly diseases that can be passed on to other family members, and to continue learning at home with a teacher-guided curriculum that prepares them to compete with the rest of the world and not turn the US into a backwater theocracy like Iran.

You and informed consent can work together on this worthy endeavor.
