Thats what I thought. As they are seen in use by the general public masks for Covid are largely a placebo, fashion statement and/or virtue signaling.
Can a business require them? Absolutely, and anyone opposed should go right to front desk and tell them how you feel about the rule and/ or rip them a new one online.
Even a local store is sending conflicting messages to the public. The sign on the door to the store before you come inside says masks are required to stop the spread of the virus. The sign where they are selling the required masks says that they won't keep people from contracting the disease.

Ha!

Actually yes!

But unlike the government I won't put a gun to your head demanding compliance.

None sense is what every liberal argument contains! Or nonsense if you're educated...

I'm libertarian, and its private property rights. What does "pro business" mean...well other than a way to mischaracterize my perspective.

"intent" only the owner knows the intent of their rules and if they are being misread it is incumbent upon them to clarify i.e. mesh mask vs. n95

Example: Im a business owner and if the state required masks of my customers inside my business, Id probably high five anyone who came in with the mesh mask.

High probability that many stores are requiring them because they think its what their customers want. There is no science or real concern, its just business

Here in KY it's required and there are snitchlines set up to report businesses that allow anyone inside without a mask.

Thank God I live in a sensible county! The local police and sheriff department came out and stated they will not enforce Colorados mask order from Gov Polis! Other counties have done similar.

Personally, I have yet to wear a mask! Even in Costco...they ask if I have one and I say yes and show the packaged mask on my cart...which is just as effective as having it on my face apparently!
