He may have just lost a lot of Hispanic votes. The Mexicans I've talked to don't like this. They've got family waiting to come here legally and do not condone illegal entry or those who are pro-illegals.
This is my experience as well. The people who work and live prosperous lives in Mexico aren’t the ones leaving., as a general rule.
What could be wrong with an invasion by people who don't speak your language, take your jobs, send their money out of the country to their families, and who disregard your laws?
The remedy is simple - abolish socialism and its taxes.

Illegal immigration is wrong and harmful on so many levels. It is a threat to our national security, has the potential to increase crime (as criminals come across the boarder), increases the strain the social systems set up to help current citizens, increases competition for the lower level jobs including those of current immigrants who have come here legally. It is mind boggling how anyone can be okay with illegal immigration unless you for the undoing of the country, which I believe many democrats are today.
When will the proud Americans of all colors and creeds stand up and fight for the dream and nation of America?
Something else that boggles my mind is how many democrats are for this, as it encourages basically slave labor in the US and human trafficking across the boarder.

What are you talking about? What does socialism have to do with illegals?
And if that 67% of the budget is entitlements, don't forget that money most of us and our employer paid into Social security for 50 or more years.
I have no doubt that employers of illegals are dumping their cost onto the American taxpayer.
You will not stop employers from under the table transactions because we are not willing to spend what it would cost to catch them.
We are not even willing to locate those millions who overstayed their visas. How hard can it be?

Even without "freebies" tons of people would flood into the United States just because of the much higher wages.

If it was an actual threat to our national security it would have been stopped already. As for the rest, the same could be said for most legal immigration, what is your point?

America is not and has never been a nation. We are a corporation, an economy, an empire, etc.

If you have the slightest understanding of how an economy works, this is indisputable.
Do you want to know how indisputable? Even if you took the economic activity of only illegal aliens, they more than pay for the "freebies" they collect. Like several times more than they collect.
There is no rational reason to removing illegal immigrants. ZERO. not only would you crater the economy by doing that, but you would just have to import the same number to replace the ones you just deported.
In short, deporting illegal immigrants w clean records is one of the stupidest economic policies we have in discussion.
