Maybe this deal gives Israel a way to back down on the annexation plans and save face.
Maybe because they see how liberals have become Israel-haters, and that if Biden wins it means Kamala will be president, so they have an interest in trying to help Trump get re-elected? Or maybe they just think it’s time to try to have a decent relationship with nations in the region. Either way, the pretzeling to try and downplay this by some is amusing.
