Yes! I guess I didn't look at the year as much as the mention of the Obama Administration. So I stand partially corrected.
In general, secret contacts between Israel and the Arab world have being going on since before the establishment of the modern state of Israel. So I would tend to attribute any Israeli-Arab agreements to Israeli officials mainly. The American government just helps to seal the deal no matter which American political party is in power.
