There is deep deep anger over what has been allowed to happen. Kyle Rittenhouse is almost the only person who has done anything to defend America and he's going to become a legend for it. This pent up rage goes very deep about everything that happened, I think it will explode on election night and there will be mass shock at the voting results
For me, I am in utter disbelief. Every day I wake up and I can't believe what I see. City after city in chaos. Night after night. I don't care if someone is a Democrat or Republican, but there is a tacit social contract that this type of thing isn't allowed to happen in civilized society. This shouldn't be partisan. This is just the basic rules of civilization.

This is like the Dark Ages with marauding tribes burning villages. How did they think this was going to play out, if not people getting killed. I think the count is 32 now. People were dying from day one, while the NY Times glamorized it with the label "1619 riots." Why haven't leaders done more to stop it? They brought holy hell down on Covid violators, but they can't stop this. Or they won't.

Well, there is it folks. The standard issue Trump apologist never ranks too well on the honesty meter
How many arrests?
Were the majority, who had committed violent acts, just not arrested?
Only a token few?

The cops/NG pushed the rioters away from the courthouse/government buildings. After that, many of the mob ended up right down the street where the shootings took place. Where were the cops/NG during the shootings? Apparently Kyle, and others, had called 911 after the first shooting. Where were the cops/NG? Kyle then runs out into the street where he was attacked. He then shot two more attackers. Where were the cops/NG? It took quite awhile for the cops/NG to show up after Kyle's call, and no doubt many in the mob had also called at the first shooting.

Why weren't the cops/NG there during the first shooting, or immediately after, why did it take so long?
Why had the cops/NG not followed the mob after they had pushed the mob away from the government buildings?

Seems the NG, and probably the cops for the most part, were supposed to only protect government buildings, the firemen, etc., and probably not to overly concern themselves if those things didn't need protection...unless they were called because of a problem. Yes, that is a form of standing down.

I finally watched the Tucker Carlson show where a lot of this recent conversation comes out.. I learned that Kyle was a victim of a business in Wisconsin being destroyed by rioters. so he goes to defend it. then some skateboarder hits him in the head with a skateboard. he shot them to defend himself.

this is what i think i heard.. is this right or is there more to the story? i missed Tucker's show last night because i was watching something else and i missed this important show.

We know his mother lives/lived there. According to people that know him, as linked in previous posts, he was living in WI, and not with his mother.

There's a lot of anger to go around. Do you think so highly of yourself that only your outrage matters? I'm still pissed about glorifying grabbing a woman by the ***** and he and his supporters just keep racking up the excuses. I'm pissed about a lot of things. Instead of shooting people maybe we all take a look in the mirror and make sure we're not contributing to it.

Trump 2016 was a reaction to nascent left wing cultural authoritarianism, and now it's a full on attempt at cultural revolution which just validates the first election and makes the case for another 4 years

Don't forget, Trump's overwhelmingly most attractive quality was his utter contempt for Political Correctness and its complete annihilation in the public square

Liberals are notoriously anti-authoritarian. I would go along with left-wing authoritarianism about as much as I would go along with right-wing authoritarianism. I see Trump as an authoritarian. What you see now is a reaction to authoritarianism and not conservativism.

That's true, but the left in America are no longer liberal, they are progressives and socialists....people who are notoriously extremist authoritarians.

Remember only a little over a month ago, this same Tucker Carlson called Senator Tammy Duckworth a "coward" --there were calls for him to be taken off the air then, so this talk of removing him from the FOX News lineup is nothing new at all. Senator Duckworth actually lost limbs fighting for her country and Carlson who also has been accused of being a white racist just sits there and spews out whatever he thinks will incite dissent from the majority public opinion. The public are right in being upset that blacks are getting shot by the police and their anger has boiled over, because it continues to happen, over and over again.

Tucker Carlson should be removed from the air and the sooner the better.
