This was a 17 year old who traveled 15 miles with his AR15 for what reason? I personally think he was a misguided kid who threw his life away. He wasn’t there for anything other than the trouble he was looking for.

The mob at the courthouse had dispersed from there and went into the streets. IF the cops weren't on standby then they should have followed the mob. It appears they did not. The gas station, where the mob ended up, is only a few blocks away from the courthouse. Seems Kyle had called the cops immediately, and no doubt others were calling as well. It took the cops/NG a very long time to travel 'several blocks'. Seems there are some who are not deep thinkers, who have trouble thinking things out.
