The reporter was only feet away from Kyle as he was being chased by Joseph Rosenbaum, the angry man who earlier had taunted Kyle to shoot him, and saw him throw something at Kyle and ultimately trap him between some parked cars. And when Rosenbaum attempted to take his rifle - Kyle shot him!

Clearly self-defense (as were the subsequent two shootings).

The reporter's eyewitness account was actually used in the criminal complaint to support the homicide charge in the 1st shooting The homicide charges are Don't Make the Riots Worse charges.

Ask any prosecutor what they think of 'eyewitness accounts', the answer likely won't be good unless supported by other evidence.

Rittenhouse was not the aggressor. He was attacked by a violent mob and defended himself.
Again he was in a crowd with a gun, he was reported to be the shooter of the first victim and was pointed out as such. At that point in time he was an active shooter in a crowd, not unlike a school shooter, and that is why he was "attacked".

If you believe we are in a good place with a 17 year old armed with an AR-15 patrolling our streets I have no idea what you are thinking. How'd it work out anyway? Who could have predicted this outcome when a child brings a gun like this to a protest.

Yup as many eyewitness accounts say he fired the first shot.

Time will tell.

I suspect with the fact they charged him and are holding him means they think he is guilty of something.

Or are you now saying the local law enforcement are incompetent?

Cripes. It's the prosecutor who used the eyewitness account in the criminal complaint.

You think Rittenhouse just started shooting people for no reason? Really? Cite proof of this, because everything i have seen shows either he is in danger of immediate physical harm, or his life was in danger, and he had nowhere to retreat to, before he fired his gun in self defense.

Im curious how people who do not support these rioters and looters, the fact that the courts have charged Rittenhouse with multiple felonies...does this now change your opinion on 'law and order' (it definitely should!)

Okay, cite proof of this. Just repeating rumors is what the lynch mob does, and you seem to be citing rumors.

They have to arrest him for possible murder, because their are dead people on the ground.
