The unceasing riots show that we are much further along the road to losing America outright. I knew we were heading in this direction and I've seen the clear decline since the mid-1990s.
Before Obama's election, the Democrats were destroying America slowly and incrementally, winning constantly at a slow steady rate to turn America into a socialist totalitarian system.
Everything accelerated under Obama. We flew Left much faster than I thought I would ever see in my lifetime. Two things resulted. First, the Democrats got a lot of what the wanted. Second, by doing so they woke up a lot of moderates to their totalitarian socialist plan. This created a backlash.
President Trump is the end product of the backlash resulting from the Obama years.
President Trump's election has now caused the Democrats and their socialist allies and supporters to go "all in". They hope to collapse the system with a constant state of conflict.
Of course, the result of this will be President Trump's guranteed re-election as more people fear where we are heading under the Democrats. But the polarized chasm between the Marxist Left and the Conservative right is widening and the result is getting messier and more violent. When the right has had enough and decides to counter violence with violence, things are really going to go to hell and spin out of control.
So I haven't really changed. I have been expecting this, but it has come 20 years sooner than I assumed it would.
One thing has changed. I am far less likely to vacation in urban centers for the foreseeble future than before. I am far mor likely to vacation in small towns, parks, and out of the way places than before. I may neve decide to vacation in New York City again, or Chicago, or Philadelphia, or Boston. This really sucks , because I love big city fun and amenities and action, and I was really looking forward to seeing all these cities.
Some good friends of mine migrated here in the 90's from Iraq, legally. They've all worked hard and become very successful here and support Trump. We've had many conversations and they've all asked what the hell are we (those of us born here) doing ? Why are we letting our country go ? They were so happy when Trump. They joked that they came from a ****hole and now we are letting people turn this country into one.
Much of our society just have no clue how good we have it here, they are willing to throw it all away.
I knew they were full of excrement when they kept supporting mike brown and the hands up don't shoot narrative even tho multiple autopsies proved it wrong and the crooked Obama doj couldn't even find a way to spin it as a bad shoot. What has changed this year is now I realize how political they are, they have an actual manifesto with like 30 or so demands and they're all commie demands
I thought BLM was sincere, grass roots, and fairly noble. Perhaps it once was.
I now realize it is just yet another garden variety commie organization trying to ruin America. When "BlackLivesMatter" doesn't say a word about the death of black police, or the death of 6 year old black girls slaughter in Chicago, or the torching of black businesses on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, then I realize they are lying in their stated belief that black lives matter.
They don't believe black lives matter at all. They believe in socialism. They believe in destroying American institutions. The believe in dispanding police and all other authority so they can run roughshod over the rest of us. They are a political organization. They support domestic terrorism.
The don't give a rat's ass over the loss of black lives whatsoever. It is become crystal clear to me the past 6 months, they don't care about the life, health, and prosperity of black peolpe at all. They are just another anti-American, socialist organization fighting for power.
Black lives matter? No. It is all a lie. They don't care about black lives at all. Not one bit. So I am grateful they were able to clear that up so plainly. Without the last 6 months, I would still have my doubts and be leaning toward believing they were a sincere and noble organization. No doubts now.

The left doesn't realize this and it won't end well for them. I saw a meme or whatever the other day and it said a 17 year old took out 3 without training what do you think 4-5 combat vets would do to a group of rioters.

It will be ugly for sure. The Vets will do okay, it's the soft suburbanites (like myself) that will have a tough time. Look what goes on in the inner city, people kill others for a bag of potato chips (happened in Detroit a couple of years ago) , or like that guy that executed the 5 year old, they will pull the trigger with no remorse, all they know is violence. So the average suburbanite is going to have a hard time pulling the trigger...hell I feel bad when I run over chipmunk or squirrel on the street. And if those type of people wait until the last minute to defend themselves, it's not going to go well.

You pray it never happens but a righteous peolpe can only take so much.
Honest small business owners having their stores burned to the ground can only take so much before they snap.
Free people unable to walk the streets at night without being in fear for their lives can only do that for so long before they snap.
Here is hoping the Democrats come to their senses and call off their attack dogs before this inevitable and dangerous backlash occurs. If they wait too long, a conserted backlash could move us past a point of no return.
Some conspiracy theory minded people say this is actually what the Marxists want. They are hoping for an all out violent war between the left and right, so the government can go full blown martial law, disarm people, and crack down on all freedoms.

Many people don't know their history and think socialism will be different this time.
Some think they will win and gain from these changes.
Some are just so mad they want to strike out at anybody so the current power stucture is attacked as being to blame for everything that happened the past 250 years.

Suburbanites have one advantage. Some know how to use a gun.
A lot of the vicious, cowardly thugs think a .25 Saturday night special that jams after one shot is a useful combat weapon. Then you see all pictures of thugs holding their gun horizontally rather than vertically, preventing both the ability to use the sights and the ability to use a two-handed hold.
The thugs are winning for now because it is all about ambush tactics and hit-and-run tactics. You can't defense against that. But put your average suburban gun enthusiast with 50 of his neighbors defending their suburb agains a mob of thugs walking up the parkway, and I guarantee they will come out with well maintained weapons, using their sites, and have ample reloads on their person or in support.
Those thugs don't tend to stay long in a fire fight. They are great at cowardly ambush, but they run immediately when fire is returned. I don't think they would last too long in a pitched battle against your average neighborhood of well prepared and well-equipped suburban firearms enthusiasts who go shooting regularly.
And that is the danger the thugs have in underestimating the war they could push us into. The thugs have no morals so they are willing to use deadly weapons for little or no cause, while it is objectionable to the point of pain for us to consider killing another human being. Once the lives of the average suburban Joe's wife and daughter have been credibly threated -- or worse -- once his wife and daughter have been murdered en masse by these thugs, it is all bets are off. These cowards who are so good at ambush will find themelves reaping the whirlwind.
I pray it never comes to that if the Democrats will just wake up and call out the thugs and allow the police to arrest and convict them.
I pray it never comes to war in the streets. Nobody wins.
The BLM movement and subsequent riots have made me think I might vote for Trump. I have skipped the last several elections because of the lackluster candidates from both parties.
It seems like the whole country has gone nuts this year with BLM pretending White America is killing Black America. The opposite is closer to the truth!
When black men begin to comply with law enforcement all of these "incidents" will disappear.
Meanwhile we have 13% of the population bullying everyone else while pretending that they are the victims!
