She had been, and her drug dealer ex was keeping drugs and money in her apartment. That's why the police had a search warrant.
No, that's not why the police had a search warrant. They were looking for Breonna Taylor's ex-boyfriend, and had the wrong address - sloppy work. In addition, the drug-dealing ex had already been arrested and was in jail, which the invading officers/detectives apparently did not know. Some "detectives"...shameful.
I have never seen any mention of there being drugs and money stashed in Breonna Taylor's apartment - can you cite your source for this claim? Thanks.
If it were common to subject people to such atrocities on the basis of their past experiences and choices ("she had been"), we'd all be at risk, as it's next to impossible to live one's life without encountering unsavory people who misrepresent themselves as good guys. Breonna Taylor had broken up with the bad-news boyfriend and had moved on. It's shameful that the police attack on her home was based on incorrect information, and that her resulting death is being brushed off like this.
I am an older white Kentuckian and a Louisville native. My poor state - commonwealth, rather - deserves far better than this sort of blatant, trickle-down corruption on the part of many of its elected officials and those who are sworn to defend the law and the people. Shameful.
that's just what they claim. Again she wasn't shacked up with a drug dealer. She had a new boyfriend with no prior drug offenses. Taylor had no prior drug offenses. And neither did Taylor's roommate. This was the police being sloppy and looking for "action". This whole case is sloppy and all these cops deserve prison time.
They had good reason to search her place. She bailed her drug dealer boyfriend out several times. Visited him 26 times in prison. Had suspicious packages going in and out of her house and car. The drug dealer said she handled the money for him.
Truck pulls up with supplies. Left = no coordinated effort on the part of BLM and ANTIFA. Whatever...
What do they want? A cop or two charged with bogus charges? They did what was right under the law. I don't agree with the law at the time, but it is what it is. Interesting question - If the cop had been black, would they still want them charged?
Biden was ranting about the need for people owning an AR-15. He said all you need is a shotgun. Go out on your porch and fire two blasts and any intruder would flee (paraphrasing).

Can't obtain a warrant without justifiable proof. Also, yes, Taylor's ex is a drug dealer, was keeping drugs and money at her apartment, and she was shacked up with him. He used her phone number and address as his own according to police records.
Hmmm.....looks like they are whipping out the skateboards.....
