This election is an election of western civilization vs anarchy. Only a lunatic would support the dems at this point.
Sadly many a loyal (D), or in this day a (R) hating person, will vote for the Biden ticket, as well as anyone with (D) after their name.
Remember reading about the "yellow dog Democrats".
That philosophy (though now not-PC) was passed from generation to generation.
Old habits/indoctrination is hard to break.

Also many of them do not realize how bad it can and will get.

Additionally when they see a (D) after a name, they assume X amount of things, that unfortunately are no longer true of the modern day Democrat party.
Heck in some cases it is radicals that set the table for Democrats, but intend on overtaking the party, because it is not leftist/progressive enough.
For example the so called "Justice Democrats" have publicly said as much.
They no longer run as part of the socialist and/or communist party, because they know they have no chance to win.
So like Bernie Sanders and others, they run as (D) even though they are far left of where even the current old school Democrats are.

You must be careful with defining how they think, and classify themselves.

Most will call themselves liberal, but they are far from the old school liberals who use to be very pro-1st Amendment, and loved to extol the virtues of Voltaire.
Back then, that was an issue they, conservatives, and moderates could all agree on. Now modern progressives/leftists worship at the alter of PC, and believe in silencing any and all opposing ideas/thoughts/speech.

Keep in mind that modern day progressives are far leftist, and believe in gaining power at all cost. Therefore they are willing to pit people against each other (white vs. minority, men vs. women), and then try to take separate groups, and try to later bind them together to form a winning coalition. Identity politics is one of those methods.
So when politicians like Hillary speak to a group of BLM types and proclaims she is "progressive" (like she did in 2016), that is more than virtue signaling.
It is flat out saying I am one of you.
Heck why do you think Bernie was so willing to embrace and support Biden (a so called moderate)?

Simple

Because both Bernie and Biden have announced Biden will be the most progressive president in history, and Bernie as recently as yesterday said Biden must do more to let progressives know he is with them.
As you likely know, Bernie is all about the communist two step, where you create dissension among the people (typically by dividing them, i.e. identity politics), then taking the most gullible and/or impassioned, and using them as "useful idiots" to attack traditional societal norms and traditions (sound familiar)?

Yes, but one side being wrong doesn't make the other side right.

That's why there won't be a solution to the problem.

Both sides are wrong and each side blames the other side.

The problem with the Democrats approach: More training means more money. #DefundThePolice will make matters worse, not better. Less police with worse training only leads to more screw ups.
I was taking issue with Officer Du Ma's position that only cops or 'experts' can judge police behavior. I don't how the thread moved from the ambush to that topic.

I doubt she will go. It will enrage the anti-cop radical wing of the party.

What are your thoughts on Blue Lives Matter?

I don’t affiliate myself with any of them “Lives Matter” organizations. I view everything on a case-by-case basis, which neither side does. Civilians are not always right. Police are not always right.

Did I follow the discussion properly? Nevermind. I don't care to answer to you.

You are now on your 56th post.

I'll catch back up later when you are 100+. Then maybe you will have contributed to this here thread.
