Most of them are not. They tend to spew typical Republican rhetoric and carry on with the behaviors typical of them. Republicans have plenty disrespect for law enforcement when it suits them.

are there democrats support LE? Yes
are there republicans not support LE? Yes

But like a wise man once said, exceptions don't make the norm.

Well then we can agree to disagree.

It's amazing how an individual can be so closed minded that they ignore the knowledge of someone that has 11 years in the field. That right there is why none of this will ever go away. If lines of communication cannot not be opened on either side, the problems can't be discussed, and no solution will be available.

Just like the whole firearm agenda, one side just isn't open to listening to facts. And therefore, nothing gets accomplished.

LE is probably the only job in the world where people, who have never served a single day in a patrol car, can claim that they know everything about the job.

I think we should get rid of police academy/FTO/in-service training and send cops to citydata forum to learn how to be cops from the all the "experts" here. Imagine how much money police agencies can save

It's a shame, PD, FD, EMT...all probably some of the hardest jobs ever.

Agree. It takes a special level of arrogance for someone who has never served a day as a cop to think she knows more more about what they go through than does someone with 11 years in law enforcement.

This is Trump's America. Riots for the last 3.5 months. High unemployment. Lying to America about coronavirus. But yeah... let's give him four more years!
