Those things initially listed, sure, I see that. When faced with that it is easy to react in kind, and 'become' the same.

The biggest difference I can tell is that , while they both back their favorite President to a fault, one side isn't on the streets cramming it down my throat while trying to eat or burning things to the ground.

Was heard on tape saying he knew the virus was dangerous but he purposely downplayed the risks. How any right thinking person can't see a problem with this is exactly what we are talking about here.

If anything, Trump didn’t downplay the risks enough. Only people with pre-existing conditions are endangered.

Both sides are susceptible to confirmation bias, so it's not surprising that the behavior would be similar at some level.
The Left is more unhinged at the moment for exactly that reason. Trump supporters generally know the intent of a Trump supporter more than a Leftist. One has more of a reason to panic than the other. For example they knew that brown people were not going to be run out of the country with cattle cars. The Left being blind to it was off the rails. The Tea party was quite the same. Obama was a big fiance installed puppet, yes, but not the Antichrist . Had he wanted to fuel is "Islamic friends" or Russia at the time( just a few years ago the Republicans were anti-Russia, "geopolitical enemy, Romney. ) then he would have been in the way of fracking.
Why does the Left always make this about Trump? Look at the Policies. You either agree with Trumps policies or you agree with the Dems Socialist Policies & Cancelling America. Which is it?

This discussion is not about policies. You may (or may not) have a point, but in this case, the discussion is about Trump supporters doing exactly the thing they railed against when Obama was in office.
Are you guys refusing to answer because you are not willing to admit it, or are you not understanding the question. (And before you state that the thesis was wrong from the get-go, not a single person has addressed that point of view either.)
Stick to the topic, and quit shifting to lies that you think you can defend.
It's not about rioting It's not about policies. It's about the condescending attitude, and the mind-set that "if you don't agree with me, you are wrong". If you didn't like it under Obama, why are you accepting of it under Trump?

In 2016, they were just as bat hell crazy over their reality TV host -- and when the Access Hollywood Tapes came out and they didn't care, that sealed the deal with who we were dealing with.
"The base" is not worth even being concerned about. Forget 'em.
It's the folks on the fence - the folks with decency who care about the country who need to be swayed just a little to get off the Trump wagon and join the rest to send the country in the right direction.

You missed two salient points. Whatever Trump does invariably turns out to the betterment of the USA, and whatever Obama did was to America's worsening (such as sending pallet-loads, a whole plane-load, of cash to the Iranians.
Obama made America weaker (which his supporters like), while:
Trump made America stronger and more-prosperous (which HIS supporters like).
That both sides aggressively support their "leader" should not come as a surprise to anyone.
Democrats in power during the deaths of 60 million people around the world in the 1940s.
All we needed to do was have a Republican in office and all those lives would have been saved.
