It was criminal tax evasion, it's been going on for many decades, and he knows that he could very well wind up behind bars, along with his siblings (it goes back as far as a family conspiracy to commit tax evasion regarding the inheritance from their father, and much farther). He is fighting for his liberty at this point. If he loses power, he will probably wind up in prison. He has tremendous motive to declare himself dictator for life - dictators don't go to prison while they're in power.
You have to wonder how many Trump supporters paid federal taxes while also saying not paying taxes is very smart... while simultaneously hating on poor people for not paying federal taxes. It's a mess of contradictions and self owns.
I would say 100% of them the majority of whom also collect disability, SS, and Medicare.

Even if Obama got straight "F's" and dropped out of college, it still wouldn't be as bad as Trump's game with the IRS and more importantly, with the American people.

And, no, the story is not bad. He didn’t pay taxes (assuming the story is true) because he was able to claim more losses than profits. So what? Only to the Trump obsessed is that bad.
Bare minimum, it certainly is just more evidence that Trump is a disastrous businessman.
And I'm not sure that Trump and his accountants would file returns with all his shady dealings detailed, so you're shooting for a massive straw man there. The fact that Trump is struggling bigly financially would only incentivize fraud. For example, recall how he was funneling money out of his "charity"? Now we have a better understanding of why.
We all knew that those tax returns would prove to be incredibly damaging to Trump. Otherwise, why would he have fought so hard to keep them under wraps? Every other US President in recent history has released his tax returns in order to provide full disclosure to the American public. But Trump didn't want us to know that he had been skating. I pay more taxes than Trump does and I bet most people here pay more, too.

Unfotunately for the desperate liberal fanatics, 17 years of meticulous IRS audits have turned up nothing. Apparently Trump obeyed every law the IRS and Congress have imposed.
Think how heartbroken the TDS Liberals must be. How many years have they been screaming Trump is hiding something awful... and when somebody finally steals his tax returns and publishes them, they find NOTHING???
All the MORE reason to vote FOR Trump! To AVOID taxes is everyone's right, and smart. Just ask the Clinton's how they've done it for so long!
