What's stopping him?

Most of Mr. Trump’s core enterprises — from his constellation of golf courses to his conservative-magnet hotel in Washington — report losing millions, if not tens of millions, of dollars year after year.

" The Times has obtained tax-return data for President Trump extending over more than two decades. It tells a story fundamentally different from the one he’s sold to the public.
Mr. Trump’s finances are under stress, beset by hundreds of millions in debt coming due and an I.R.S. audit that could cost him over $100 million.
He paid $750 in federal income taxes in 2016, and nothing at all in 10 of the prior 15 years — largely because he lost so much money."

You have to wonder how many Trump supporters paid federal taxes while also saying not paying taxes is very smart... while simultaneously hating on poor people for not paying federal taxes. It's a mess of contradictions and self owns.

Fake news like this is why.

And, hypothetically, what if Trump paid 0$ in taxes, but broke no laws according to the IRS...then so what?

If a person legally pays 0$ in taxes, its a non-story. If you don't like it, change the tax code.
I definitely trust you less than the NYT. You should link more.

Nice attempt at lying about it.
He's been audited every year for at least the last 17 years. He's "believed to take seventy something" for each of those 17 years??

Nice attempt at lying about it.

No, have not noticed any decline in Biden. I did hear Trump advocate for "herd mentality" approach to conquering the virus, "herd immunity" dear leader, that's herd immunity. Otherwise known as attempting to stop the pandemic by killing off about 2 to 6 million Americans.

18 Revelations From a Trove of Trump Tax Records
September 27, 2020in News, U.S.

The New York Times has obtained tax-return data for President Trump and his companies that covers more than two decades. Mr. Trump has long refused to release this information, making him the first president in decades to hide basic details about his finances. His refusal has made his tax returns among the most sought-after documents in recent memory.

Among the key findings of The Times’s investigation:

Mr. Trump paid no federal income taxes in 11 of 18 years that The Times examined. In 2017, after he became president, his tax bill was only $750.
if everything was kosher, I have no issues with it.

Trump's taxes have been under audit because the IRS is disputing trump's tax returns claiming he is due a 80 million dollar welfare....I mean refund!

So, Trump spent decades building businesses, hiring workers, selling merchandise, and countless activities that filled state and federal treasuries with tax dollars. Joe Biden spent 47 years withdrawing money from the treasury. Trump’s personal tax contribution is really irrelevant in compassion to all the economic good he added.
