oh and maybe it isn't all so legal....and above board.

"Also hanging over him is a decade-long audit battle with the Internal Revenue Service over the legitimacy of a $72.9 million tax refund that he claimed, and received, after declaring huge losses. An adverse ruling could cost him more than $100 million

So long as he is not breaking the laws, I don't care how much Trump pays, or doesn't pay.

I know he did increase taxes for some people, because I'm not even able to itemize anymore. I don't get any sizeable deductions now, and I used to get pages of them; as a top 2%'er who owned multiple properties, and a business.

Also, Trump increased the tax revenues flowing in to the federal gov't for his first 3 years in office...so he did increase taxes, and also repatriated $1T from offshore that he collected taxes upon (at a reduced rate to incentivize them to do so).

All of this just makes me want to vote for Trump even more. MAGA KAGA

$70,000 in hair styling. Who knew it cost so much to train a sickly rat to stay still on a person's head?

But oh the Libs will cry!!!
The Libs aren't the ones owing all that money - its Trump. His taxes were so low because he was such a chronically bad businessman that he couldn't make profits.

And, no, the story is not bad. He didn’t pay taxes (assuming the story is true) because he was able to claim more losses than profits. So what? Only to the Trump obsessed is that bad.
So what? Would you want Trump to run your McDonald's, much less a country? Not me.

There are suspicious consulting fees paid to family where there’s contradicting information that there were no consulting services even provided (possible payroll tax avoidance, gift tax avoidance, and transferring of tax liability). There are conservation deductions that are suspect (in value). There are deductions of “investment property expenses” that may be used personally.

The biggest issue appears to be the audit issue about whether he abandoned his partnership interest in the casinos without receiving anything of value.

There’s also critiques of businesses that are truly losing money hand over fist (not just through depreciation), recourse debt concerns, and the change in revenues in certain businesses since taking office.

Oh, and deduction of legal fees for criminal defense which is NOT a valid business expense. Somewhat speculative, since it’s hard to tell, but at least some of the cited legal expenses seem to be tied to firms that were hired just for criminal cases.

And that's just the stuff we know from the Times article.
Yeah, there are so many loose threads to pull that probably end up somewhere in legal trouble.

Let's see.

"Trump colluded with Russia" produced nothing.

"Putin had something on him and was controlling him" fell on its face.

"Mueller finally has the good, and will GET TRUMP next week" blew up in the liberals' faces and made them a laughingstock.

The "Steele Dossier" turned out to be foreign propaganda bought and paid for by the Democrats, and produced nothing.

"Your USSC nomination is a drunk and a sexual predator" ran out of accusers and facts before Kavanaugh even took the stands, and he rubbed their noses in it.

And now... the Democrats finally steal a copy of Trump's tax returns, only to find that, even after continuous audits for 17 or more years, the IRS finds he's more honest and law-abiding than the Dems themselves are.

Liberals, may I make a suggestion? Maybe you folks should take up Tic-tac-toe. It's hard to screw that up as much as you've screwed up everything else you've tried.

And that was due to riding the coat tails of Obama's recovery. Now, the IRS is in chaos. Despite the hoax, he closed IRS processing centers. People are still waiting on refunds.
