That was a literal quote from the doctor.

Some times people do the right things and still end up with bad results. Is there *any* evidence of negligence on the part of the CDC when it comes to early testing?

Effective, reasonable leaders don't fire people just because things didn't go the way they wanted them to.

That was weird. If he was on oxygen, why not just say so? Obviously they were covering up that fact, to the point that I think there were some chuckles about the fact that they were covering that up. If he was on oxygen, and now he's not, that's a good thing, isn't it? Why try to cover that up?

I want to beleive the doctors because Walter Reed is a respected armed forces hospital and it will be touch and go over the next few days. That said, it is Trump and Trump has doctors lie for him all the time and he is at an age and weight that will make this a critical issue.

Per his doctor 30 minutes ago he sure is making a speedy recovery. No temperature and heart rate in the 70's and media asked about his wife and all they would say is that she is doing very well.

Christie now is positive: https://twitter.com/GovChristie/stat...16381758050305.

Trump is turning into a regular little Typhoid Mary. Christie was around Trump all week. Not that Trump was necessarily the direct vector to Christie. But he sure was the mover and the shaker.

Lord Almighty. THAT should never have happened. Unbelievably irresponsible. If Trump managed to infect Biden there will be some serious unhappiness in this country.

Sounds like he’s doing great. Hopefully he’ll be out by Monday or Tuesday.

Trump's doctor keeps dancing around the answer about supplemental oxygen. Would never answer straight up that Trump wasn't on oxygen. Would keep repeating he isn't on it now or today.

From the dancing around of the doctor's answer, it appears some time Friday "before the team at Walter Reed" was with Trump, is when it was on oxygen. Too much spin and non direct answers from the doctor. It was clear he was trying to avoid admitting outright that Trump was on oxygen at some point. If Trump was NOT on oxygen, the doctor would have said so. He was asked point blank and instead said "He's not on any NOW".

Multiple times doctor refused to answer when Trump's last negative test was and when his first positive test was. Doctor dodged the question with "We're not going to get into that". He replied twice this way, as if rehearsed. They don't want to admit when Trump was positive. Maybe he was positive on Tuesday at the debate but went anyway. Why else would the doctor keep saying 'We're not going to get into that".

Honestly, it sounded like he was on it while in the WH or transporting to Walter Reed.

But whatever the case, he wasn't on it while at the hospital.
