That's an interesting thought! How better to fully downplay the virus and avoid those awkward debates than to feign illness, take a two week vacation, and then declare himself cured.
However, that would be reckless and irresponsible, as the stock markets reacted as soon as the announcement was made. Furthermore, if it were true that he is feigning illness for personal benefit, it could be another reason to impeach.
On that basis, I'm going to assume that it is true that Trump and his wife have the virus and hope that he has a full recovery soon.
He’s not going to get impeached again and even if he does the senate would just acquit in five minutes. That’s no real threat.
As for the stock market - true Donny is obsessed with it but he would also be flattered if his health affected it so drastically and it would just bounce back when he is miraculously “cured”.

Please show me a tweet where President Trump has wished death on anyone.
Different rules for them and for us. Don't you know this by now?
Always has been, always will be. No morals. No commitment to anything but themselves. Selfish subhuman pigs.
He originally planned to go ahead with a call Friday with elderly Americans about the coronavirus, but asked Vice President Pence to do it instead.
Trump's Twitter account has been silent all day, and some think another was posting for him during the wee hours this morning about testing positive for Covid-19, since the terms "Wuhan virus", or "Chinese flu", or some variation, were not used.
It would not surprise me if we later learn that Trump is much more seriously ill than admitted. Already the official reports of his illness have changed from being asymptomatic to "having mild symptoms". I think they're soft-peddling it, thinking they are keeping from alarming the citizenry too much.

You're talking about Donald Trump, right? Spot on.
