It's not Biden who has proposed the changes to the format, it's the Debate Committee, following Trump's juvenile behavior the other day. They didn't write the rules to reign in a recalcitrant toddler with impulse control issues because they thought they were dealing with adults. Silly them.

And it is TRUMP who declared just yesterday that if they decide to shut off his mic so he cannot talk over Biden, that's it, he won't come at all. Trump is the one who is saying he won't show.

You are being lied to, Chuckity. But I suppose you are used to it by now.
lol.

You guys believe all the "unnamed sources say ..." reports about Trump day in and day out.

I happened to believe the reports are correct from Max Miller saying the Biden campaign requested a mute button rule change. See - that's a named source.

Nancy Pelosi has said over and over and over again that Biden shouldn't debate Trump.

It will give us all a break from these increasingly bizarre performances. Tuesday night was something else. No reason for any more of that. Proud Boys got the message. Why risk Trump going totally off the rails?
LOL, maybe that's his campaign advisors plan. I can just hear their conversation.

What are we going to do? Trump is completely off his rockers. He is blowing this election. He doesn't stand a chance in this next debate. He's going to have a complete mental meltdown, if he goes through with it.

Don't worry, I have a plan. Tell him he has COVID and he has to quarantine for the next fourteen days. That will give us time to figure out what to do next.

Geez, think about what you are saying for half a second.
Not at all. Most are perfectly innocent, honest and trusting. Not at all like Trump.

Trump deliberately downplayed the virus, and it turned out to be far more contagious and more deadly than he claimed. We now know he knew how contagious and deadly it was, and has been lying to you.

He sent his goons to intimidate governors, he deliberately obstructed and slowed down the testing for the people (though tellingly not for himself for himself he has had the most rigorous and thorough testing regimen on anyone in close proximity ... again, he always knew the truth about the dangers) and he deliberately held super spreader rallies and events without requiring masking or proper distancing. In other words, he acted as an agent spreading the disease throughout our communities.

Trump is culpable in Herman Cain's death, and possibly many others who attended his rallies under the assurances (actually fallacious claims) that the virus is practically harmless and the dangers were overblown.

Trump is also responsible for putting our Secret Service personnel and other public servants in unnecessary exposure. It is not clear how many have been infected but the reports are several at least. White house personnel were told not to wear masks on the job because "it is not a good look" !

As posted elsewhere, had our country followed the leadership of Canada instead of the leadership of Trump we would have 100,000 less deaths in our country, that equates to 10% of the world's deaths, attributable to Trump's lack of proper leadership. Astonishing! Trump is criminally negligent.

Truly, Trump has been playing with people's lives, and he made the personal willingness to accept exposure as a loyalty test. He demanded it. For that he does have this coming to him. Sadly, after all that if it happened to kill him (not that one would wish it) history would probably record it as poetic justice.

Yep. Here's why she didn't think he should:

Quote:
I think that he’ll probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency — he does that every day,” she said. “I think he will also belittle what the debates are supposed to be about. They’re not to be about skulduggery on the part of somebody who has no respect for the office he holds, much less the democratic process.”
Wow, Nancy sure called it!

Turns out she was absolutely right, but Biden showed up anyway. Much to Trump's dismay.

question
if trump were to die in mid-late october
and the rnc were to pick a new candidate
who could be pence or someone else
and the nov 3 election date was not enough time to prepare , so cancelled
how long could it take to a new election date?
End of december or january perhaps?

This is a short video by Dr. Karlyn Borysenko, a psychologist and WalkAway Democrat, on why Covid is a blessing in disguise for Trump. She does a lot of thoughtful short videos on the new racism and intolerance.

Mocking Biden for wearing a mask in the debate is fair game for Biden ads to use now. Pride before the fall...

Doesn't work that way. There will be no calling off of the election it is constitutionally mandated.

If he hasn't tweeted yet today and doesn't tweet in the next few days, then we should probably be concerned.

But if Trump does go on his typical childish Twitter rants over the weekend, he's probably fine LOL.
