Same reason Trump ordered all hospitals not to report their covid numbers to the CDC a couple months ago. He doesn't want covid numbers being calculated and quantified. He's on a disinformation campaign, just like his dictator friends, who he greatly admires.

That is wrong because you can be tested positive for up to 3 month after you get it according to CDC

This means that if the person who has recovered from COVID-19 is retested within 3 months of initial infection, they may continue to have a positive test result, even though they are not spreading COVID-19."

You are right. I made a mistake initially saying test positive but realized I meant had symptoms....but that's not right either.....and it depends.

Available data indicate that persons with mild to moderate COVID-19 remain infectious no longer than 10 days after symptom onset. Persons with more severe to critical illness or severe immunocompromise likely remain infectious no longer than 20 days after symptom onset

Who are you people? Never had a moment of real courage in your own lives? That would be my guess.
I take the stairs daily, that must mean I am even more courageous than Trump, if taking the stairs is a show of courage.

Gen. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, along with almost the entire JCS are now in quarantine after the the vice commandant of the Coast Guard tested positive for coronavirus. He was in the Pentagon last week for joint meetings.

The military increased covid testing after Milley and other senior DOD officials attended a WH reception last Sunday where Trump (and Melania) were present. The Coast Guard is working with the CDC to contact trace.

Congress’s attending physician is also working with DC health authorities to trace contacts of known cases on Capitol Hill. Since it became clear the White House was a hot spot, more than 40 U.S. senators along with numerous congressional aides have been tested since late last week.

On Monday, the White House once again refused CDC offers to help trace covid-19 cases connected to that outbreak.

This administration is a joke. They really don't care at all about this virus or who they infect.

Trump told them it was fake, then he told them it was going away. As recently as this week he told them not to be afraid of it. His leadership sent the message that masks don't help, and his examples showed him going maskless WHILE he is diagnosed.

I won't offer an opinion about the competency of people who blindly follow his advice, but he has been negligent and incompetent in every aspect of his handling. I guess you have painted yourself into a corner now. Are you saying that people should follow every word a sitting president says or should they think for themselves. If they follow an incompetent leader, does that make them incompetent in your eyes?

For me, I think he is PARTLY responsible for a lot of those 200k deaths. Had he followed the proven playbook that Obama/Biden left him, we'd be doing 'at least as good as the rest of the world'. Instead, we are rock bottom.

Trump is overseeing and "leading" the final decline of America. It was already in slow decline, that was not his fault. He just accellorated it, and that is his fault.

Donald Trump doesn't have the virus, it's a hoax. Just another reality episode, political distraction from Trump's failures and taxes..
