Yeah this scenario would be no different under a Biden admin. Elites will get the best and newest care at the expense of everyone else.

Wrong political party. Low-income earners overwhelmingly vote Dem.

"An individual’s likelihood of being a Democrat decreases with every additional dollar he or she earns. Democrats have a huge advantage (63 percent) with voters earning less than $15,000 per year. This advantage carries forward for individuals earning up to $50,000 per year, and then turns in the Republicans’ favor — with just 36 percent of individuals earning more than $200,000 per year supporting Democrats."
The Economic Demographics of Democrats

True to form, Hillary won the bottom two income groups.

To (probably over) simplify a complex problem, at its core many Doctors don't stay as they can make far more money in the civilian sector. And two it is basically "socialized" medicine for soilders and their families in the sense that everyone has access. So when and the little Jimmy's and Joe's have cases of the sniffles, instead of giving them some dayquil it's off to the doctors because it's free, which then exasperates the resources.

One example, I have a degenerative disc, happened while in the Army. One morning I couldn't move back was locked up, still have to go to sick call for quarters. Well the system was so over whelmed, we now had to call to make a sick call appointment. Depending on your symptoms or problem they gave you a slot. My slot was three weeks later. So I had to have my wife drive me to formation, explain to my Platoon SGT what was going on and was given a pass for the day. And then was expected to wait three weeks to be seen.

There are urgent care clinics all over the place that take walk ins those will disappear under a govt controlled health care. Just one example.
Been a while since you’ve been active duty, I take it. That is not the way it works now. You would have been seen that day at an Urgent Care Center, either in a military facility or they would have arranged for you to go to a civilian one. You may have had to wait 3 weeks after being seen at UC to see a specialist, if they decided it could wait but they would have addressed whatever acute miseries they could that day.

Things have changed. One of the additional things that has changed - thanks to Trump, I might add - is that the VA has a private care option.

Trump signs bill allowing veterans to seek care outside broken VA system

Funny how no one seems to have heard about that one. Hmmm..... wonder why?

That is a self funded private policy. And no, not off of the exchange, for the same policy is was almost double. We just called around to health care providers and got this policy from Blue Care Network.

You should also add, that the "ultra" wealthy lead more to the Democrats. So, it seems like the Republicans are truly made up of the middle class.

I found this interesting from that website.

"Republicans tend to give more to charity, while Democrats support publicly funded assistance programs. This could also be explained, in part, by Democrats’ lack of religious devotion, as a large percentage of Republican charitable donations support religious programs and institutions."

You're welcome.

Even though the wife and I are happy with this , I still think healthcare needs some sort of reform. I miss the days of employer sponsored healthcare, when $50 a week got deducted per check and we had low deductibles.

Not necessarily true. Where has there ever been a political affiliation breakdown of the top 400 US 1040 filers, for example?

Yes, religions of many kinds and denominations host and support charitable outreach programs. Love thy neighbor. Several well-known religious group-sponsored programs in my area are food pantries, clothes closets, handy man groups that complete home maintenance projects for low-income single Moms, destitute elderly, etc.
