No, Joe Biden, Cops Can't Just Shoot People in the Leg

During ABC's town hall event with former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate provided a garbled response to a question about criminal justice reform. In particular, he wrongly suggested that when police fire their weapons at suspects, they could shoot to wound instead of shooting to kill.

"You can ban chokeholds, but beyond that you have to teach [the police] how to de-escalate circumstances," said Biden. "So instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg."

Biden is an idiot. There is a reason that all these police unions are supporting Trump and not Biden!

You do realize he made a good argument about needing to have better mechanisms to rid police forces of bad cops right? Good cops don't like bad cops.

The love for the corrupt police unions just show how far to the right and fascist the GOP has moved from being 'conservatives'

They should be trained in de-escalation techniques and use of non-lethal force when possible (its not always possible).

Hopefully "shooting someone in the leg" is not part of your definition of "non-lethal force."

Finn what exactly was your occupation when you worked? I'm just trying to understand your mindset on the issues presented on this forum. Do you know any cops?

Biden showing how he’s ignorant and has been coddled from reality. Always shoot center of mass.

Was he the idiot politician that advised people to fire warning shots in the air? I recall it was a VP if I’m not mistaken.
