You still didn't answer the question. What is a fair price for healthcare ? Free would be awesome, but nothing is free.

I think the focus should be more on the industry itself. Why the hidden pricing ? Why is out of pocket pricing sometimes less, sometimes more than what the insurance pays ? Why can the hospital and the insurance company negotiate prices, while we can't ?
A flat GST based on peoples gross earnings, whether from wage income for the plebes or capital gains/dividends for the owner class. Perfectly fair

It's because they think it's acceptable for people of lesser means to die of curable ailments if it means they can get that extra Mercedes....

Chart is meaningless.

Why not look up WHO started food stamps and WHY food stamps were started.

Learn something !

Look at where the overpricing occurs. It takes place with the health care providers, themselves. Review my post in this thread if you forgot who's reaming the public via pirate profiteering:

A lot of the "waste" is in billing which a single payer system would get rid of the current fee for service billing codes

His statement said ONLY the wealthiest got tax cuts. That is a flat out lie. A Lie.
Just a small quote from the WHO IS SAVING most thread
“Most of the tax cut went to businesses and higher income individuals who are less likely to spend the increases,†reads the report. Facts are everyone got a tax break.. Everyone
Here is a link that shows the tables from 2017 and beyond. Easy to read too.

The left wrote it to become a single payer. That was their plan till Hillary failed to win..
Poorly written, very expensive. Wait till you see what a single payer system does. We cant afford it.
Damn people, when did healthcare become such an important thing. Only when you need it, like Cops?

It makes absolutely no sense to repeal and replace "something" with nothing especially now in times of Covid-19.
It was working just fi e before ACA. It did nothing but ruin healthcare for many millions of Americans and gave catastrophic care for those that didn't qualify for medicaid but couldn't afford a family policy or were not offered healthcare by their employer.

Really? I remember the BCBS plan I had in the Bush years, premiums were raised 15% every year, even though I wasn't getting 15% pay raises to off set the premium jacking!
