Actually not true. We also controlled who entered and who didn't. Especially going into the 1900's. Moving on needs change, cultures change. We no longer have a need for millions of non-english speaking under educated people who want but one thing. Free money for their anchor babies. WE owe these illegals not a thing. Do you know who we actually owe? Our 600,000 homeless. Once again its getting cold and people are on the streets and the left once again is more concerned with illegals than our own in need. Not true? Then where are all the threads by the left demanding help for our homeless?
No Jesus would not castigate the parents who are for the most part fleeing bad situations and looking for a better life for their kids.

Jesus said to obey the laws of the land. Illegal aliens aren't doing that. No one has a right to a better life by breaking laws and taking from others what doesn't belong to them! Just because Jesus loved children doesn't mean that others besides their own parents should be providing for them especially when the parents desert their kids in a foreign country.
No problem. But that isn't the issue... the issue is these children are being dumped into a country where they have no family, no social support system, no connection. That would be the same here in Canada, plus they wouldn't even know the language.
Why do you support this callous treatment of innocent children?
How is it "callous" to send them back to where they came from? What is "callous" is that their parents haven't come for them.
At least when they are sent to Mexico, they speak the language. The Mexicans can then send them back to their own countries. After all, Mexico didn't stop them from entering Mexico. Let them deal with these kids.

I'm flabbergasted at the responses of my fellow countrymen and their responses of the treatment of innocent children. What would JESUS say?
Many of these people are against abortion in our country but, are good with sending children to Mexico because the culture is similar to what these kids are used to.
So...sindey, how many of these children are you going to foster?
There are not our children, not our responsiblity.
America is NOT the world's daycare or homeless shelter.
We should never tolerate other nations dumping their unwanted kids or people on our border.
America should airdrop birth control pills over central America or something. This is ridiculous!
We don't even give out enough BC pills to our own women...millions of Repubs are against ANY kind of birth control but guess that's only for Americans?
