Canada already takes in more refugees than almost every other country.
In this case, Canada offering to take the children would be seen as interfering in US policy. Something I'm sure the US government would frown on, and just rebuke Canada.
Glad I'm not a stupid bleeding heart liberal who puts the needs of foreign kids here illegally above our own poor and needy children. Glad I'm not an advocate for rewarding illegal aliens who have managed to evade the law for years also. Americans need those jobs back to.
No one is suggesting that children should be put above or below anyone.
