Another lame excuse. If you care so much about these children, work to make sure that your country helps them. Who are you to tell us what we need to do?
I live in the USA half the time, and pay much more taxes there than I do in Canada.
Do you honestly believe that a foreign country's government interfering with US policy would be welcomed by the US government?
It would be seen as not only interfering but openly meddling in your affairs.

Evading and enabled by the crooks in our society and I have noting but contempt for both of them. If one is a willing accompliss to law breaking I'm supposed to feel sorry for them?
Which is fine. I am not for illegal immigrants coming to any country. Refugees, yes, immigrants following procedures, yes.
But this isn't about that. This is about children who have their parents removed, and then because of incompetence, are now basically orphaned.

It's meddling because it goes against the policy YOUR government has made. It would be an ACTION that diplomatically would be seen as meddling.
We speak English and French here. Not Spanish, unlike most of the southern border States, where many are bilingual. I remind you, these are children, innocent children. When did the USA become so callous not to care for them. Oh, I know....it's because they no longer are in the womb, maybe?

So far Canadians from citydata came up with 2 excuses why their country is not opening up their heart and pocket to immigrants from central america
1) english is not a primary language in central america
2) by accepting and granting status to foreigners , canada is afraid of meddling with US policy

Canada already takes in refugees and immigrants. This isn't about that.
This is about US policy, US actions, within the US. it has NOTHING to do with Canada.
It's been said too many times already as to why Canada can not interfere with US policy, at least as long as we have the 3rd party agreement, and are allies.
