Trump had decades of awful behavior before running for president. The adulteries, fraud, bankruptcies, etc. were bad enough but then he chose to go “full birther.”

Frankly, I hope the press keeps it up. I don't think there is much chance Trump will prevail in 2021, but there is a very good chance for the GOP to take The House in 2022.

They only flip generally through redistricting or something really bad happens that gives voters a reason to pick "anyone else."

Plus, her Republican challenger got 30% of the vote. In the Bronx and Queens? It is strange how much media attention she gets, considering that she puts on a pretty sorry election-day performance.

29% of registered voters show up in her district on the same day that 60% of registered voters showed up nationwide and you are willing to believe it had something to do with Covid?
Idaho - Blood Red Idaho - has 2 districts; one reported 375,000 votes and the other reported 441,000 votes. Michael Simpson (ID-2) has been there since 1998 and he got 135,000 votes. So it's not Covid and it's not the weather. I'm saying the people in her district don't care whether she runs or not. The only people who do are her parents and the press.
She's a liability and if The Dems had any credibility they would find another representative for the primary and get rid of her.
