We are having our Rights to assemble violated by an over reaching Government in the name of public safety. I wonder what is going to happen if Biden gets to implement his Gun restrictions?

If people are getting angry and defying the mandates to lock down how angry will they be when Biden bans the ever popular sporting rifles better known as "assault weapons" and regulates the rest?

Biden's idea is to create a buy back program or face a registration process where each piece in your collection will be taxed. Each rifle would be $200 and each magazine that holds over 10 rounds would also cost you $200. The gun tax is estimated to cost gun owners $4 Billion and the magazine tax would be $30 Billion.

Biden is planning on making gun ownership so regulated and expensive that many will be forced to give up their guns.

We have experienced the shut down of our Rights by the Government over the Covid threat and people are fighting back but what is going to happen when they try to stomp on our Second Amendment Rights?

This is not going to end well.
Biden will be Glock-blocked by SCOTUS.

NO ONE needs unlimited access to guns with the firepower that advanced technology has given us. Do I think people should be able to own guns? Yes. Do I think there need to be restrictions on types and numbers? Yes.
The "founding fathers" were revolutionaries. Now, mind you, they were revolutionaries quite different from pretty much any others--they were fighting to free the populace rather than to conquer or dominate the populace--but revolutionaries just the same. Had there been AR-15s at the time, I am quite sure their attitude about firearms in the hands of the populace would be the same. Their intent was not that we have firearms for hunting rabbits, but that we have firearms to protect ourselves from tyrannical government.

It really only takes a cursory reading of the founders words (at least most of them) to see where they stood on "government." Many of them loathed it. In fact, one very wise man offered that there should be a popular revolution every twenty years to keep the government in check. He was probably right. Look at where we are today.

They already have. There are certain types of firearms that you cannot own, no?

So don't come off telling everyone that it is an impossibility, since it has already been done.

Yep, and there have always been restrictions. The 2A says nothing about the types of weapons one can own. I wish the writers did put some limits, it would be hilariously dated. Nothing new here, just hysterical rightists getting their panties in a wad. No one is coming for your precious guns. Sometimes I feel like the US is stuck in a timewarp from the wild west of the 1800's, not the 21st century first world nation we keep tying to convince ourselves we are.

Better stock up now and buy a bunch more guns and ammo while you still can!

Yep sure, do you actually have any proof of this claim, or did you just pull that out of your nether regions?

Yup. They said so on OANN. They are going to microchip republicans who own guns and install video cameras inside their homes.

^This.

They also lie to their own constituency talking about gun control to try to get votes.

LMAO....they trolled you good. Clicky click bait you just couldn't resist.

You probably think the government was buying up all the ammo too?

Good thing you're not in my dads old man coffee group, they'd never let you live any of this stuff down and they're all rural gun owners.

I'm just saying that we have willingly given up some of our Rights due to the Covid. Freedom to worship is one of the biggies and the Government shut down churches, weddings and funerals.

Business's have been closed and many will never open again due to the Governors over reach.

There are travel restrictions being put in place and soon we will be required to show our papers to get on an airplane or go state to state.

We have given up so much during these covid times in the name of public safety so what is going to stop the Government from shutting down our Second amendment Rights?

The thing is with Biden he actually said that he is coming for the guns unlike so many other politicians that dance around the subject because they know it is suicide. The Democrats don't care about hiding their intentions anymore.

I believe that when the Biden Bunch is installed they will be coming for the sporting rifles and so many others that they deem as too dangerous in the hands of the average citizen.

The thing is the laws they enact will do very little to stop gun crime but they will turn many law abiding citizens into felons when they refuse to comply.

This could get messy.

What I'm seeing in daily life outside gas stations and grocery stores is that people have had it with this crap.
