We have laws and restrictions because we are in the middle of a pandemic. Just like what happened in 1918. As much as people want things to be normal right now, and I am one of those people, things are not normal. It's not a political thing. It's a virus thing. Covid isn't political and doesn't see red or blue. It sees hosts in which it can continue to spread as long as nothing is done to mitigate that spread. We can rail, shake our fists at the sky, at each other, whatever. It's going to do what it does until we as a country do what we can to stop it or at least slow it down. Wear a mask. Socially distance. Avoid crowds.

So your argument (if it could be called one) is that because of Covid, we have new rules, laws and restrictions in contradiction to the rules, laws and restrictions that were put in place to prevent the ones we currently have.

What happened to the talking point that Biden was coming to confiscate everyone's guns? Oops, time for a new talking point.
They don't need to. They just make them illegal to use or the use is too dangerous if it involves serious penalty. So, people will just hide them at home and they can't use them for hunting or shooting. This does nothing for crime. Does this need spelled out again? 94 taught us it did nothing. Criminals don't obey laws. You don't care because:
A. You are afraid of them
B. You don't own one
C. Hate the second
One of the reasons the 2nd Amendment even exists is to protect the citizens from government over-reach, and this it what Numbnuts Biden and the left will attempt to do.
Biden's proposals aren't something he can do with the scribble of his pen on an Executive Order, and any of his lame-brained attempts will get smacked down by the Supreme Court.
He's been in politics for over forty years ... FORTY YEARS. This guy is riding the gravy train of tax payer dollars. He's done NOTHING and will continue the same.

The Second Amendment is a State's Right, and it actually IS to protect the individual state from the power of the Federal government.
