I didn’t think we’d do it until two weeks after Covidgiving but we got it done less than a week after it.
Hoaxers spitting on people, Blue rioting, hoaxers refusing to wear masks upon request from the property owner, Blue celebrating Lysol Man’s defeat in the streets, hoaxers throwing Covid parties, Blue’s elites zooming around the country while telling us to stay home...
Being completely irresponsible collectivists has really paid off. Pat yourselves on the back, folks.
Mission accomplished.
Gee, we should probably mandate people wear masks at work and out in public. Oh wait...
Stop with the lies. Nobody - NOBODY - said it was a hoax. That's a liberal lie that the mainstream media continues to spew.
Your number of 250 dead a day is also a lie.
And just reporting numbers doesn't tell the entire story. Texas is HUGE. Almost all the deaths are in one county, along the Mexico border. The number of deaths as a percentage of the population is virtually the same in Texas and New York, yet you haven't called out New York as being indifferent to the deaths. The number of deaths in Illinois is almost double that of Texas, yet complete silence.
The smaller percentage effected by Covid are generally older, have underlying health conditions, etc.
If you think 250,000+ extra dead people in a year won't affect the economy - you're wrong. It will. Those people buy houses, buy cars, buy vacations. Those people run businesses - and perhaps even sign YOUR paycheck.
The economy will suffer PLENTY just from their deaths alone. We are all in this - no one is on the bench. This is a worldwide problem - and lots of folks in other nations NEVER had what you have today - yet I don't see them becoming emotionally unstable and jumping off bridges. I don't see them suddenly changing their drinking habits.
Nope, that's not on COVID. Sorry. But you cannot "keep yourself" safe without the active help of everyone else and vice-versa - because it's flipping contagious. Takes two to tango.
The underlying conditions include obesity and high blood pressure - approximately half the USA (yes, really). You think your economy won't suffer if HALF stay home and lock up? It will.
Best case is to suffer a bit now, and kill this thing off. There is NO option where you just live your life AND ALSO it goes away on its own. That is not one of the choices.
Except they're not "extra". And most of those that have died are the very elderly and the folks with multiple underlying health conditions. They are NOT the people out buying homes, cars, and taking vacations. And very few are running businesses, when it's mostly the over-80 crowd that are in care facilities that are dying.
As for the rest of the world, just look to Japan. More people died in Japan from suicide in October alone than from Covid in all of 2020. So yea, you do see them "jumping off of bridges". And those suicides are disproportionately affecting women. That's exactly on Covid. To ignore that is ignorance.
We've been suffering for 8 months. And it's still here. Time to admit shutting down is NOT working.
We haven't reached the Thanksgiving surge yet. Expect the count to go much higher. Particularly in locales that are running out of beds. It's like watching a slow-motion disaster unfold.

No, they are extra. The only thing you have to do is to compare the number of deaths since the start of the outbreak this year to the number of deaths during the same period last year. The difference exceeds the official Covid count.
BTW, Japan has 48times lower Covid death rate than that of the US.
