^^^ Bolded and underlined above to address~~ FALSE comparison!
Point is Any Corporation can/could very well demand vaccination records before hirings/and employees too. However, there'll always be exceptions> .. ala ( Allergic to components of vaccine or medical issues that disallows them to receive not get vaccinated~~ There's a LONG list of who may be unable to received any vaccine.. However/accommodations must remade for such "Employee's" if they can continue to deliver via
Remote contributions!
As to Workplace demanding vaccinations or provide "VALID" Medical rational as exceptions! As an Employee, your position should be guaranteed..
I worked in HC circles.. required to prove vaccinations/updated constantly.. then provide updated proof of valid Antibody Levels that indicated I was still immune to whatever ( i.e. Hepatitis/Tetanus/ etc etc). I retired some 5+ years ago.. so it's no a requirement/ however in my Lifetime I got Small Pox Vaccine ( sill have the scare) Polio Vaccine, TB Vaccine, etc.. and still had to get antibody teeters done q 2 years to assure immunity during my 56 years run!!
My POINT is really, it does NOT matter who you work for IF they demand or expect inoculations.. That's their right to do! IF you have some sort of inability.. and they refuse or unable to accommodate, then YOU are out of LUCK!
I actually have zero ISSUE with this tendency (mandate) at all!!
I believe ya if employers want to require it there is nothing we can do. however, if I had a say in this ONLY the medical field could require vaccinations. how does demanding vaccinations not violate hippa laws?
i believe in individual freedom on what we want to or not put in our own bodies. in Massachusetts in order to attend school, all children must get a flu shot. the parents have no say unless they want to home school their kids. this was brought about this year. if you wanted to kill a lot of people a vaccine could be a perfect avenue to do it. this might seem crazy probably won't happen but this is why I believe it should always be the person's choice unless they work in the medical field. not to mention they are not safe for everyone. most of them are not that effective either.

I wouldn't want a pregnant woman with severe allergies to be on my payroll in this pandemic unless she was vaccinated. Without the vaccine, that's far too many lives placed at risk for the pay or the job's importance.
If she was a good worker, I would do my best to work out something would keep her and her child safe, and everyone else, without the need to fully discharge her from my employ.
The same would go with any others who refused vaccination. But if a deal can't be made, they would have to go.
they are saying the vaccines now are very dangerous to people with allergies. they are telling people with severe allergies NOT to get the vaccine. its ok if she dies from the vaccine because you will be protected.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pd-iZ48Rf-I I believe they are saying pregnant women should not take it either. covid will not kill her it's insignificant but the vaccine will probably kill her if she has bad allergies and is pregnant. covid has a 99.7 percent rate of survival. ya force her to get the vaccine and watch her die!!!

You could be correct.
I wouldn't do anything until some serious conferring with some doctors with my work force present at the meetings.
It's all about shared risk vs. shared responsibilities to each other.
I wouldn't want anyone catching the virus from my work place, and I don't want anyone who's sick to be working.
Things would have to be arranged.

The warning about allergies is for severe allergies sufficient that the person carries an EpiPen. Two people in the initial group receiving the vaccine, both health care workers, had severe allergic reactions and recovered. No one died. It does not mean anyone with less severe allergies should not take the vaccine.
Your statement that "the vaccine will probably kill her" is incorrect. Allergic reactions can be treated and people who give vaccines know how to do it.

What I want to see is "severe allergies to...what?"
I suspect a severe allergic reaction to something can be induced in nearly anyone, if we tested them with enough different possibilities.
My wife has a severe reaction to crustaceans...but only to that. So...what?
My daughter has a severe reaction to parsley...but only to that. So...what?
Ill be getting it anyway so there will be no need to wait for a mandate.Hopefully an employer mandate will push some of the people that I work with and dont like out of the door though.
That's not advice. Particularly when there will be multiple types of vaccines as well.
But I don't expect to actually need to know for several more months, so maybe by then there will be real advice available.
Right now that is what is advised by Pfizer. I would hope that the two who had severe reactions will be tested to see what they reacted to, which is possibly one of the lipid ingredients. If so, then people with severe allergies would have the option of being tested before they take the vaccine.
Certainly more time means more data. The problem is that more time also means more infections if large numbers of people defer being vaccinated.
