Maybe a bad example. I'm not vegan. I love a good steak.

Say you're avoiding sweets for health reasons. Would you use the word anti-sweet? No, it sounds ridiculous.

Anti is affixed to make us look ridiculous. It's ok to call us that, I don't mind. I just wanna point this out.

for the under 50 crowd, they are dramatically different. Extremely statistically different. Worth a lot of input and guidance from the CDC different.

for example (as I posted in another thread) ...

a vaxxed 65 yr old is 2x as likely as an unvaxxed 18-49 yr old and 11.5x as likely as an unvaxxed 12-17 year old to be hospitalized.

A boosted 65+ yr old is 3.5x as likely as an unvaxxed 12-17 to be hospitalized.

Despite what Fauci, Walensky, Biden and Psaki said, it has never been a "pandemic of the unvaxxed". It has always been a pandemic of the unvaxxed 65+ (since March 2020) and the 65+ whose immunity from vax or infection had waned" (since July 2021).

It's not? Well if you believe .3% is statistically significant, then I can think of a host of things you need to stop doing immediately.

Spare me your anecdotal story and the emotional response. These are numbers whether that hits a nerve with you or not.

Who says wearing a mask equates to a fear of dying?

I was in a motorcycle accident that saw me unconscious, went into emergency surgery. I woke up with a breathing tube, that the nurse removed when she saw me try to remove it.

Anyways, during the period I was in a coma/unconscious it was quite peaceful. Not sure if that comforts you any

it is always statistically insignificant.

It's not insignificant to the dead or their loved ones though. No one has ever said it is.

Because "your side" of the Covid argument loves the "seatbelt analogy", were motor vehicle deaths ELIMINATED? or reduced? By what %?

Anti-vaxxer, according to you, is someone who doesn’t like the government coerced them to get injected with drugs in their body?
Same, they use statements like antivaxxer, to shame those who don’t comply and of course going to kill grandma :rolleyes. I’m a grandmother and most likely caught covid from my sick vaccinated family, but I blame the virus and not them. It’s ridiculous. If one wants to wear a mask, wear it, but stop with the manipulation calling people grandma killers if they don’t wear them. I’m responsible for my own health and I’m not the only one. Stores like target has hours set aside for those who are comprised or vulnerable, some grocery stores too.

My beloved mom died unexpectedly three months ago today, she would have been 93 yrs old on March 5, she was in a coma for a week, I know what you mean. I'm grieving her death, the only good thing was she passed peacefully. I went to the cemetery today to water the flowers I brought there on Saturday for her birthday. Sorry about your accident.

Additionally, I feel like I owe it to her to live-on as healthfully as I can after all the sacrifices she made for me. Why should I give up and not protect myself in the face of a pandemic?
