Remember when Trump enacted a travel ban from China and Democrats and the media called him xenophobic? What way do yo want it? Travel bans or no travel bans. You are complaining both ways.
And, BTW, they don't know if it's more deadly yet. You made that assumption on your own for dramatic effect.

I'm guessing they came out with it being 70% more contagious simply to scare people out of getting together for Christmas. They just discovered the new strain, so obviously they can't already know how contagious it is. It would have to be studied over a period of time first. Common sense.

Of course a medical Public health expert can make that statement after doing analysis. Maybe you can’t but someone who is smarter certainly can and did.

Why are you making stuff up? There is no new strain in Great Britain that is "more deadly." Provide a link. The "new strain" is more easily spread. The vaccine is absolutely still effective. Are you trying to scare people? If you have new information, provide it.
