I just asked a friend of mine if she would support Trump using the military to toss out the results of the election and impose a new one. I explained to her that nobody would dare participate that didn't like Trump. She told me she would think about it and would be ok with Trump holding a new election.
I think 2021 is going to be worse than 2020
That's weird. Why have a new election? Just throw out the results, arrest Biden and Harris and whomever else and just be the president.
Alan Dershowitz who says he is an expert on this subject states the constitution does not give Trump any authority to declare Martial Law in fact there is no reference to Martial law. The closest thing to it is the suspension of habeas corpus in the Constitution which says Congress can only invoke suspension of habeas corpus if in the case of rebellion, or invasion. The right keeps bringing up Hawaii after Peral Harbor attack Dershowitz says it was the Governor who declared it not the President. He also says if Trump were to attempt it a Federal court can stop it with an injunction. Trump hasn't had much luck with the courts since he has been President I suspect this won't go well either it would just put one more check box Trump will never be reelected again after he demonstrates how crazy he is.
Trump doesn't have any authority to throw out the election results and hold a new one. He may lose by an even larger margin if he did that. The recount he had to pay for in Minnesota resulted in more votes for Biden.
No he doesn't. But Trump doesn't go by laws and he has blood thirsty war monger Flynn at his side. Obviously he wants to just throw out the results and say he won no matter what. His conspiracy lawyer Sydney Powell was at the white house three days in a row. Obviously devising an obviously illegal scheme to overthrow the government. There was talk about confiscating the voting machines.
Yeah, but we don't want a dictator running our country. This is why he was voted out. It's really disgraceful that Trump is acting this way. He puts himself first over our country.

Far too many people today seem to be relying on 'the courts', or even the FBI, to step up and prevent Trump from taking major actions...they dont realize, its not the FBIs or courts duty to do that...its the duty of the PEOPLE, the citizens!!!

And the People DID their duty and voted him out in a landslide, popular and electoral college vote.
Yet he wants override the will of the people and call their vote fake!! So in a way it is up to the courts and law enforcement to recognize that in this country, elections still matter and the voters are the ultimate deciders. Not Trump or a bunch of fake news conspiracy theorists.
Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville issued a statement saying the military has 'no role' in determining U.S. elections as well as the Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy joined in the statement. I suspect if Trump attempts this Flynn could wind up in front of a judge again with a far more serous charged of Sedition.
You better believe there is a huge emotional investment in Trump from his core followers. That's because he stands for something. He stands for saving our country from the destructive force of communism.
I guess if you're an avid admirer of lockdowns and mask wearing, love the destruction of small businesses, and enjoy seeing the loss of our freedom, you'd be more enthusiastic about Biden.
Either way, every citizen SHOULD care about fair elections. Without them we have nothing.
He is saving the US from communism? How? By allowing Putin to hack our elections in 2016 and our federal agencies in 2020 without repercussions? By allowing Putin to put bounties on the heads of american soldiers? By giving Putin classified intelligence information? By having secret meetings with Putin, to talk about god knows what? Is this how someone is saving America from communism? By telling Russia to hack into Hillary's emails? And then they did just that? Seems to me all this is how one embraces communism.
The elections were fair in 2016 and they were fair in 2020. AG Barr said so.
Biden promises open borders (with millions unemployed), tax hikes, gun confiscation, and lockdowns. The Left is obviously in bed with China (Swalwell literally) and anyone else with influence $$$ because that's how our jobs get sent elsewhere. They get sold.
Now, anyone who finds all of that appealing and voted for that senile barnacle is one of two things:
1. A useful idiot
2. Not intelligent enough to vote or make decisions.
We all saw what happened. Trump was easily on his way to 270 when multiple states stopped counting. All of these states pretended to close down and then sent all GOP watchers away and then resumed counting...for days. Until Biden won. None of these things had ever happened before. There are so many instances of irregularities it's unquestionable that there needs to be an investigation but the courts won't even look at the evidence or hear witnesses. The DOJ and FBI refuse to investigate.
The world's Elite wanted Trump gone because he stood in their way. All of you who voted for Biden and are happy to look the other way voted for the Elite ruling class. You voted for Wall Street. You voted for the Oligarchy. You voted for the very thing you purport to be against. Not that hypocrisy is something the Left is unfamiliar with.
All of that money being printed...and now all the sharks circling. Getting ready to feast on the carcass of the US. Way to go Liberals. Way to think things through.
