Yes, and thanks to Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, cutting through all the government malarkey and providing funding when asked, will have us all inoculated within months. That’s about the only positive we have to hang on to as the country veers against capitalism and promotes anti-white sentiment.
The Pfizer vaccine was never part of Warp Speed and took no US government money, yet was first out of the gate. Try again.
Assuming President Trump does not first resign (so Mr. Pence can pardon him), I predict that after Mr. Biden is sworn in as President, that within an hour Mr. Trump will attempt to exert Presidential authority, such as announcing new pardons, trying to issue an executive order, or the like.
That's an interesting conjecture.
I just read an article that discussed this possibility, and another possibility: Biden could reverse Trump's self-pardon.
The ability to pardon is one of very few Presidential rights granted by the founding fathers that has almost no restrictions. But the language says the President can grant a pardon.
By the language of the time, that meant the President could grant pardons to others, but not himself.
Some other person or governmental entity would have to grant a pardon to the President. It's a power that can be applied only to others.
So, if a President can grant a pardon to himself, the thought follows that another President can also cancel the granted pardon that was illegal.
The safer way for Trump to do it if he decides to pardon himself is to resign, turn the office over to Pence, and then allow Pence to pardon him. This would be safely inside the limits of the pardoning process.
If Trump was to do that, it could kill his chances for a 2024 comeback of course, and would leave Pence in a stronger position than himself when this term expires.
Trump would only be the second President to ever resign as well, with the first being Richard Nixon.
Nixon left unwillingly and only under threat of impeachment.
Since Trump has already been impeached, if he tried to resign just to get a pardon, it may be possible for the Senate to hold new hearings on the impeachment and convict him on a second go-round.
A President who is convicted after impeachment is no longer allowed to hold any political office again in his lifetime. Conviction would stop Trump's return in 2024 for good.
....lots of possibilities to think about in this matter. It's almost entirely brand-new legal territory.

Here's my prediction:
MAGA idiots will still be claiming fraud come 2024.
It's as tiring as the pandemic restrictions. They, too, must be endured.
Warp Speed is, predictably like everything else Trump, failing miserably at getting the shots in people's arms. When it was up to the private sector producers, things moved along but now all across the country it is breaking down at the local level. The goal of 20 million vaccinations by the end of the year is nowhere near being achieved. It's gonna take Biden and his experienced staff that understand how to turn the gears of government to turn it around.
it does not help that identity politics and people's opinion is going to cause the vaccine to not be fairly distributed. already, the "essential workers" will get it before your 75 year old will. many people will find a way to claim being an essential worker. thats how congress got the shot.
also, some politicians claim that black people are more severely hit by covid, plus prisoners in jail. so again, identitiy politics is going to prevail.
i don't believe it's possible to undo a presidential pardon. seems that would fall under double-jeopardy.
Not sure double jeopardy applies.
Not in pardons anyway.
The nice thing is most who are pardoned can be brought up on many other charges as time moves along.
